Las Vegas Raiders Wide Receiver Henry Ruggs III will be charged with DUI after an early morning wreck that resulted in the death of a woman.

Henry Ruggs III to be Charged With DUI Resulting in Death

Ruggs’ Chevy Corvette made contact with the rear of a Toyota Rav4 causing the death of the driver of the Toyota Rav4. The wreck took place at approximately 3:39 AM Tuesday, November 2. Ruggs stayed at the scene of the wreck, showed signs of impairment and went to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Las Vegas Metro Police Department has said that Ruggs will be charged with a DUI that resulted in a death. If found guilty, Ruggs will see between two to 20 years in prison. Ruggs had a female passenger in his car at the time. She has not been identified. This incident is being investigated at the time of this writing.

Ruggs’ attorneys have asked people to hold their judgement until after all the facts have been gathered. The Las Vegas Raiders are aware of the situation and are currently monitoring it.
