The Green Bay Packers had their season end in heartbreaking fashion, getting their playoff hopes spoiled by Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions at home. We discussed previously how the Packers were a team with no direction, plan or identity. Now, they have a long offseason to figure it out. The silver lining is that a third-place divisional finish theoretically means easier opponents in the Green Bay Packers 2023 schedule.

We already knew the Green Bay Packers’ 2023 schedule would feature games against the AFC West and NFC South. However, three other games in the 17-game Packers schedule will be against teams that finished in the same position in their respective divisions. The NFL is set up for parity, and this is one of the ways they go about doing it.

With this in mind, we now know all of the opponents in the Green Bay Packers’ 2023 schedule, and we also know whether they will be home or away games.

Green Bay Packers 2023 Schedule Opponents

The 2023 Green Bay Packers schedule will feature eight home games and nine on the road. Here are the opponents for the Green and Gold next season.

Home Games | 2023 Packers Schedule

  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Detroit Lions
  • Chicago Bears
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFC South)
  • New Orleans Saints (NFC South)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (AFC West)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (AFC West)
  • Los Angeles Rams (NFC West — 3rd place)

Away Games | 2023 Packers Schedule

  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Detroit Lions
  • Chicago Bears
  • Carolina Panthers (NFC South)
  • Atlanta Falcons (NFC South)
  • Las Vegas Raiders (AFC West)
  • Denver Broncos (AFC West)
  • New York Giants (NFC East — 3rd place)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (AFC North — 3rd place)

Had the Packers defeated the Lions on Sunday Night Football, not only would Green Bay be in the NFL Playoffs, but they would also rank second in the NFC North. This means instead of playing the Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers, they would have the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens on the Green Bay Packers’ 2023 schedule.
