With the 50th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Giants drafted Azeez Ojulari, edge rusher from Georgia. Azeez Ojulari Draft Profile
Strengths
Azeez Ojulari has a tremendous first step that will catch many tackles off guard, even at the NFL level. He has great technique, showing the ability to create separation between himself and his matchup. Ojulari is one of the best in the class at setting up the offensive tackle, with a variety of moves in his repertoire. He is also great at getting low and turning the corner.
Weaknesses
Ojulari is a true finesse/technique rusher. He doesn’t have much power, so he is not someone you want facing even most tight ends head up. If a player gets locked up with Ojulari, he is taken out of the play.

What to Expect from Ojulari in 2021
It’s clear that the Giants needed to address the defensive line through the draft and Ojulari may not be the last rusher they target still. Ojulari provides a much-needed attack off the edge and will certainly be a Day 1 starter for them considering they are slim at the defensive end position right now. He’ll need to work on his strength, possibly by bulking up leading up the preseason but he will add a new dimension to the Giants pass rush.
