Taking a look at the best low-owned fantasy football WR options to play in Week 6, including the Green Bay Packers’ Romeo Doubs.
As we move on to Week 6 of the NFL season, now is the time when the boys separate themselves from the men in the fantasy standings. With the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans on bye, you may be turning to the waiver wire to solve some of your lineup issues with some prime receiving options out for the week. While the wide receivers have been tough to predict, it’s not impossible to find some difference makers on waivers.
These are three low-owned fantasy football WR options that you can stream for Week 6, if you are unsure about that final WR spot in your starting lineup! Also, make sure to check out our Week 6 fantasy football rankings!

Low-Owned Fantasy Football WR Streaming Options Week 6
Romeo Doubs vs Cincinnati Bengals (49.8% Owned)
The fact that Romeo Doubs is not rostered more in fantasy is criminal. Outside of a Week 3 performance where Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur were trying to one-up each other for most braindead person of the day against the Cleveland Browns, Doubs has been incredibly consistent with “boom” potential. In those three games, he has only 11 receptions, but 154 yards and four touchdowns.
Doubs is not the most targeted playmaker on the Packers’ offense, but he is very clearly the favorite target of Love and LaFleur when Green Bay gets into the red zone. Fortunately for him, the Cincinnati Bengals are coming to town. Off a bye week, Doubs not only gets a defense that is 23rd against wide receivers, but he also gets a Joe Flacco, who has zero experience in this Cincinnati offense. With the Bengals likely turning the ball and giving the Packers great field position all day, Doubs should have plenty of chances to rack up catches and find the end zone.

Josh Downs vs Arizona Cardinals (42.6% Owned)
I do understand why some people are bearish on Josh Downs, but when you dive into his production, he’s been better than he’s been given credit for. Obviously, the Indianapolis Colts’ Week 1 smackdown of the Miami Dolphins is an outlier with how quickly they dominated that game. Since Week 1, Downs has averaged six targets per game, and seven targets per game if you take out another dominating performance of the Tennessee Titans earlier in the year.
Downs has racked up 10 or more fantasy points in two of those four weeks, and gives plenty of value when he gets the ball. This week, the Colts play an Arizona Cardinals team that may not have a great record, but does have the offensive firepower to stay in games better than Miami or Tennessee. With the Cardinals boasting a defense that is middle of the pack against opposing receivers (17th), Downs should be able to get enough work to be a decent FLEX play.
Isaiah Bond at Pittsburgh Steelers (4% Owned)
While nobody should feel completely safe with the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback room, Isaiah Bond has shown some flashes and plenty of trust as the season has progressed. Over the past two weeks, Bond has racked up 13 targets. While he does only have five receptions in those two weeks, his big-play ability makes him so dangerous. Even one catch can be broken for enough yardage to get him fringe FLEX value.
This week, Bond and the Cleveland Browns play the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road. Pittsburgh has a decent enough offense where the Browns will clearly need to be able to put points on the board and can’t just rely on their defense to make plays and grant them great field position. In addition, the Steelers’ defense ranks 27th against receivers in fantasy this year. While that is a small sample size, they haven’t faced good enough competition where that should be the case. With Dillion Gabriel proving himself at least competent as quarterback of the Browns, Bond should provide some solid fringe FLEX value.
