When it comes to the tight end position in fantasy football, it can be difficult to find consistency outside of the top five. Streaming a tight end each week is very popular across fantasy leagues but the position has been a wasteland thus far with not many players emerging on the waiver wire. Read on for three fantasy football Week 9 TE streamers that are worth consideration due to either good matchups or promising target share or production in past performances.
Keep in mind, there are SIX teams on a bye (CLE, DAL, DEN, NYG, PIT, SF).
Players must be owned in less than 55 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 9 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook vs. LV (45.3%)
After weeks of seeing consistent volume, Evan Engram finally found the end zone in Week 8 and posted his best fantasy performance of the season (15.5 fantasy points). The Jacksonville Jaguars have the offensive firepower to make games interesting and to produce viable fantasy options but have shown way too much inconsistency to gain the full trust of fantasy managers. He has an opportunity to build off his good game with a prime matchup against an abysmal Las Vegas Raiders defense, who allow the third-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing tight ends.

Juwan Johnson Fantasy Outlook vs. BAL (7.5%)
Juwan Johnson was a revelation at the tight end position the last few weeks because he’s been producing consistently despite his low ownership. He was quiet last week but still saw four targets. Considering the New Orleans Saints injury situation, he will see the same, if not more volume. The Baltimore Ravens also have their fair share of injuries and are in the middle of the pack when it comes to points allowed to opposing tight ends (12.20 fantasy points).
Robert Tonyan Fantasy Outlook at DET (49.7%)
Robert Tonyan has flashed as a potential top-10 fantasy tight end, but he simply hasn’t produced enough to warrant the start every week. He sees consistent volume every game, only having less than four in just two games this season. Over the last three games, Tonyan has 22 targets and over 150 yards, but he has failed to find the end zone since Week 4. The Detroit Lions defense is bad all around, allowing 15.33 FPPG to opposing tight ends this season, so this could be the game where Tonyan finds the end zone and posts a viable fantasy day.
