We’re entering the dog days of the 2023 NFL Season. The early-year fantasy football waiver pickups that define a season are long past us, and now it’s time to grind waiver markets for weekly fill-ins for injured players. With no teams on bye in Week 8, the desperation isn’t as high. However, if you missed out on some of the top waiver picks and are in need of a streamer at the WR position this week, then look no further than the fantasy football week 8 WR streamers options below.
Pick the right fantasy football streamers option to get the win this week and continue down the path of fantasy greatness, which ends with you hoisting your league’s trophy, championship belt or champ chain.
Players must be owned in less than 60 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 8 WR streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Kendrick Bourne Fantasy Outlook (30%)
Kendrick Bourne put together yet another strong fantasy outing in Week 7, hauling in six of his seven targets for 63 yards and a touchdown. As the top receiving option for a Patriots team heading into a matchup against the Dolphins in Week 8, Bourne is a solid flex play in what should be a game with a pass-heavy script. Not only is he a fantasy football Week 8 WR streamers option, but you may be able to trust him moving forward.
Jalin Hyatt Fantasy Outlook (2.7%)
The rookie out of Tennessee continues to make noise for the New York Giants, as he brought in two catches for 75 yards on a career-high five targets Sunday. Hyatt still remains a deep sleeper in most leagues, but if the Jets are without both or one of Sauce Gardner and DJ Reed in Week 8, then Hyatt could be an under-the-radar play for desperate lineups.
Josh Downs Fantasy Outlook (44.8%)
Similarly to Tyjae Spears in my Fantasy Football Week 8 RB Streamers article, Josh Downs will be in these articles every week until he’s owned in 60% of leagues. The rookie from UNC is averaging nearly eight targets per game and hauled in five of his six targets for 125 yards and a touchdown in Week 7.
Downs provides a safe floor in targets with Gardner Minshew, and he has plenty of big-play ability as evidenced by his 59-yard deep ball this week. Downs is a weekly starter and certainly a strong fantasy football Week 8 WR streamers option.
