When it comes to the tight end position in fantasy football, it can be difficult to find consistency outside of the top five. Streaming a tight end each week is very popular across fantasy leagues but the position has been a wasteland thus far with not many players emerging on the waiver wire. Read on for three fantasy football Week 8 TE streamers that are worth consideration due to either good matchups or promising target share or production in past performances.
Keep in mind, there are just two teams on a bye (KC and LAC).
Players must be owned in less than 55 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 8 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Irv Smith Jr. Fantasy Outlook vs ARI (34.4%)
We’re at the point in the season where tight ends are so scarce and bye weeks have begun, so fantasy managers are scrambling to find plug-in options with prime matchups. That is the case with Irv Smith Jr. He’s been very underwhelming after talks of a potential breakout season with a new Vikings regime, but he faces the Cardinals, who allow the second-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing tight ends thus far (20.53). Smith offers plenty of red zone upside and has two touchdowns thus far.
Greg Dulcich Fantasy Outlook at JAX (20.5%)
After not playing for the first five weeks, rookie Greg Dulcich has quickly cemented himself in the Denver Broncos offense moving forward. He’s posted back-to-back double-digit fantasy performances and found the end zone in Week 6. Even with Brett Rypien starting last week, he caught six of his nine targets for 51 yards, so the production should be there regardless of who’s starting. The Jaguars have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends thus far, but Dulcich will still see consistent volume.

Juwan Johnson Fantasy Outlook vs LV (5.4%)
With injuries plaguing the entire New Orleans Saints team, there has been plenty of “next man up” moments, and Juwan Johnson has done just that. Johnson has seen five targets in back-to-back games, including a two-touchdown performance last week against the Cardinals. He won’t offer too much to fantasy managers if he doesn’t find the end zone, but his role in the offense looks to be cemented in place until injured players return.
