Fantasy managers are now beginning to scout out waiver wire gems that could turn into potential fantasy football Week 7 RB streamers, due to injuries piling up and bye weeks beginning. The running backs on the waiver wire will likely be scarce in deep formats, but injuries happen and those potential streaming options will surface over time.
If streaming your RB2 or flex spot is your plan this season, read on for three fantasy football Week 7 RB streamers that are worth the look. Keep in mind, four teams are on bye (BUF, PHI, MIN, LAR).
Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 7 RB streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.
Fantasy Football Week 7 RB Streamers
Latavius Murray Fantasy Outlook vs. NYJ (19.4%)
The Denver Broncos backfield is hard to gauge with the Javonte Williams injury and Melvin Gordon getting benched last week. If any of them has a chance to take over RB1 duties, it’s Latavius Murray. Murray led the backfield in touches in Week 6 against the Chargers and it’s obvious they will use him as much as possible. Melvin Gordon has had fumble issues this season and Mike Boone simply doesn’t cut it.
Kenyan Drake Fantasy Outlook vs. CLE (14.5%)
Many fantasy managers were ready for the J.K Dobbins breakout season after his three-touchdown performance in Week 4, but he has been very quiet since then. The Baltimore Ravens offense runs purely through Lamar Jackson at this point, but Kenyan Drake has flashed in the limited touches he’s been given. Drake is explosive and has big-play ability, something the Ravens are lacking outside of Jackson. The Browns surrender the fourth-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing running backs so far.

J.D. McKissic Fantasy Outlook vs. GB (40.8%)
Another backfield that is filled and hard to gauge is Washington. Rookie Brian Robinson Jr. has entered the lineup and is clearly the rushing back that the coaching staff trusts, but J.D. McKissic has the potential to be depended on quite a bit. With Carson Wentz out for a few weeks, Taylor Heinicke is behind center, and he loves to check the ball down to his running backs. McKissic had a small window of fantasy heaven last season where he was posting double-digit performances every week and seeing nearly double-digit targets as well.
