Fantasy Football Week 7 RB Streamers

Craig Reynolds Fantasy Outlook (4%)

David Montgomery left Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is set to miss “a little bit of time” with an injury to his rib cartilage. With Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) having been sidelined for two weeks, Craig Reynolds will become at least the RB2 in an offense that loves to control the ground game.

Reynolds rushed for 15 yards on 10 carries Sunday while hauling in two catches for 28 yards. He was the lead back with both Gibbs and Montgomery sidelined, and is a definite flex play this week, making him a solid fantasy football Week 7 RB streamers option.

Ezekiel Elliott Fantasy Outlook (50%)

Ezekiel Elliott was one of the best players on the field offensively for the Patriots in Week 6, rushing for 34 yards and a touchdown. On the surface that’s not great, but he had a 70+ yard run called back by a penalty.

Elliott’s snap share has trended up every week since the start of the season, and with the way Rhamondre Stevenson has played, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Elliott continue to get both goal-line work and more snaps moving forward. He has looked better than Stevenson all season, and the Patriots might look Zeke’s way more as they search for answers.

Kareem Hunt Fantasy Outlook (48%)

Kareem Hunt rushed for 47 yards on 12 carries while adding a touchdown in the Cleveland Browns’ upset win over the 49ers Sunday. He also caught 3-of-3 targets for 24 yards. Hunt remains the backup RB in this offense, but the Browns’ QB situation may leave enough volume for both Ford and Hunt to be fantasy-viable options in Week 7 and beyond.

If Watson remains out, expect the Browns to lean on their strong offensive line and a ‘ground and pound’ approach to win games.
