Fantasy Football Week 5 RB Streamers
Tank Bigsby Fantasy Outlook (8.4%)
Travis Etienne suffered a shoulder injury in the Jaguars’ loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday, thrusting Tank Bigsby into a more prominent role. But even without that, Etienne was on the sideline (perfectly healthy) watching Bigsby take snaps in his place.
Tank finished with 90 rushing yards on seven carries, and it’s hard to see a path where Doug Pederson doesn’t keep calling his number. The Jaguars are 0-4, and they’re likely to go with the hot hand here.
Alexander Mattison Fantasy Outlook (29.3%)
Antonio Pierce said this week that Alexander Mattison has earned “more reps” and I believe Pierce when he says that. Zamir White has been a letdown for the Raiders (and is droppable), while Mattison carried the ball five times for 60 yards in the Raiders’ win over the Browns this weekend.
This might be a good week to get ahead of Mattison’s increased usage and use him as a fill-in for an RB-starved roster.
Jeremy McNichols Fantasy Outlook (0.9%)
Well, the Washington Commanders offense seems to be legit under rookie QB Jayden Daniels. Good offenses tend to carry players along with them, and Jeremy McNichols is a good example of that. McNichols ran the ball eight times on Sunday for 68 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 1 ball (on one target) for six yards.
With Austin Ekeler likely sidelined for at least another week, McNichols is someone who could very well be in store for another productive week.
