The tight end position is one of the most-streamed in fantasy football since there is so much inconsistency and matchup dependence. On top of that, add injuries to why many fantasy owners are looking to fantasy football Week 3 TE streamers to field a full lineup.

Spoiler alert: we are talking about the same three tight ends this week as we did in Week 2. How are Sam LaPorta, Hunter Henry and Zach Ertz all owned in less than 60% of ESPN fantasy football leagues and eligible for this fantasy football streamers article?

Pick the right fantasy football streamers option to get the win this week and continue down the path of fantasy greatness, which ends with you hoisting your league’s trophy, championship belt or champ chain.

Players must be owned in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 3 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 3 TE Streamers

Sam LaPorta Fantasy Outlook (56%)

We said last week that the Detroit Lions’ rookie tight end needed to be owned. Sam LaPorta fantasy football owners were rewarded with the eighth-best tight end performance in PPR fantasy football scoring, making him the TE4 on the season.

At some point, people will wake up and not only own Sam LaPorta, but start him too. This seems like a great week to do so, as Amon-Ra St. Brown is battling a football injury, which could mean more targets open up for Detroit’s second-best receiver, which is LaPorta. Pick him up, please.

Hunter Henry Fantasy Outlook (50%)

Again, we recommended Hunter Henry in fantasy football Week 2, and all he did was perform up to my expectations. He finished as TE2 for the week, making him TE2 overall this season. Yet, half of leagues are ignoring him.

Obviously, Hunter Henry won’t find the end zone every week. However, he is clearly the top red zone receiving option, and the new Bill O’Brien offense utilizes Henry in the middle of the field as well. Pick him up.

Zach Ertz Fantasy Outlook (47.2%)

Finally, let’s talk about the veteran out in Arizona again. We said before that all we really can ask for from a fantasy football Week 3 TE streamers option is a player that is being used. There are too many tight ends who don’t see regular targets. Zach Ertz, on the other hand, received another eight targets in Week 2, bringing his season total to 18.

Without scoring a touchdown yet, Ertz ranks as the TE7 for the season. If one of his 18 targets scored a touchdown and nothing else changed, he would be the TE3 this season. He has been great, so pick up Ertz, especially in PPR or TE Premium leagues.
