Fantasy Football Week 3 RB Streamers
Bucky Irving Fantasy Outlook (18%)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted Bucky Irving out of Oregon with the 125th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. And if you watch Tampa play football on Sundays, you know why. Rachaad White is a highly inefficient runner who seems to have a knack for running into the backs of his offensive linemen. Now, White is nursing a groin injury as well.
Irving is almost certainly going to continue eating into White’s rush attempts this season, and a Week 3 matchup as seven-point favorites against the Denver Broncos profiles as Irving’s potential coming out party. He had nine attempts in Week 1 followed by seven last week. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw double-digit touches from Bucky Irving in Week 3.
If you need a running back to fill out a lineup this week, Irving is still available in more than half of leagues. It’s clear he is more than just a fantasy football Week 3 streamer option for you.
Alexander Mattison Fantasy Outlook (11%)
Alexander Mattison had a quiet Week 2 in the Raiders’ upset win over the Baltimore Ravens, carrying the ball four times for one yard. His day was salvaged by a trip to the end zone. Raiders HC Antonio Pierce insists that Zamir White be the bell-cow running back, but a Week 3 matchup with the Panthers can leave plenty to go around for both Mattison and White. The Panthers have been the second-worst team against the run this year, and the Raiders are five-point favorites in a game where they are likely to keep the ball on the ground.

D’Onta Foreman Fantasy Outlook (3%)
It might be going under the radar, but D’Onta Foreman carried the ball 14 times for the Browns in their Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Foreman finished with 42 rush yards as well as one catch for nine yards on his lone target.
He finished the week as the RB37 and, if you can get a top-40 running back after fantasy football waivers clear, you’re doing well for yourself. The Browns will meet the Giants at home for their Week 3 bout. And while the Giants have a strong interior defensive line, the Browns are seven-point favorites and remain likely to keep the ball on the ground in a positive game script for their RBs.
