Welcome to all of those who drafted Trey Lance this year. Like those who decided to stream quarterbacks, Trey Lance fantasy football owners are now scrambling around to find an option at quarterback. Read on for three fantasy football Week 3 QB streamers that are worth consideration. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these quarterbacks off of waivers. Fantasy Football Week 3 QB Streamers
Marcus Mariota Fantasy Streamer at SEA (9.3%)
If you haven’t been paying attention to our fantasy football podcasts, you may be surprised by the re-emergence of Marcus Mariota. He currently sits at QB10 and has either thrown for multiple touchdowns or ran for over 50 yards and a score in both games. The Atlanta Falcons have solid offensive weapons and nearly pulled off the unthinkable by coming back from down big against the Los Angeles Rams last week.
In fantasy football Week 3, Mariota matches up against a Seattle Seahawks defense that is 20th against quarterbacks. When you factor in his running ability and how the Seahawks looked last week against the San Francisco 49ers, it’s easy to see why the Marcus Mariota fantasy football outlook is high for this matchup. After this week, Mariota has a real chance to be the new hot fantasy football waiver wire commodity. Scoop him up before that happens.

Jared Goff Fantasy Streamer at MIN (6.9%)
Who would’ve thought that the play of Jared Goff would improve as he is given more offensive weapons? Say what you will about their defense, but the Detroit Lions’ offense is a juggernaut. The Lions average over 35 points per game and only lost to the Philadelphia Eagles by three points in Week 1. The same Eagles team just pounded the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night, 24-7.
A large part of Detroit’s success has come thanks to Goff, who has thrown for just under 500 yards with six touchdowns and only one interception. Many forget the Lions were a last-second field goal away from beating the Vikings both times last season, with Goff scoring just under 20 points in their most recent meeting. The Lions will be throwing the ball plenty and Goff has been taking care of the ball well lately. Fire him up with confidence.
Justin Fields Fantasy Streamer vs HOU (41.6%)
Yes, I know, picking a quarterback with only 28 passing attempts through two games is unorthodox, but hear me out. Justin Fields played Week 1 in virtually a monsoon, so we can scrap that. While there is no excuse for Fields having only 11 attempts against the Green Bay Packers, he was still able to lead them down the field on a few occasions.
The Chicago Bears face off against the Houston Texans this week. This is absolutely a “get right” game for the Bears, and you better believe they are hearing all the questions about Fields’ usage. While Fields likely won’t put up an elite fantasy performance, his matchup, combined with his ability to run, makes him an interesting fantasy football Week 3 QB streamer.
