Hopefully, your fantasy season(s) got off to a good start in Week 1. If not, it is very likely it had something to do with the poor quarterback play that seemed to plague the entire league. If you found yourself scraping the bottom of the barrel at the end of the draft, you likely want to stream a new quarterback for fantasy football Week 2.

Read on for three fantasy football Week 2 QB streamers that are worth consideration. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these quarterbacks off of waivers. In order to be included in the fantasy football Week 2 QB streamers article, they must be rostered in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues.

Fantasy Football Week 2 QB Streamers

Carson Wentz Fantasy Streamer at DET (40.6%)

While he played against a soft Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 1, the Carson Wentz fantasy football performance was still a great one. With four passing touchdowns and over 300 passing yards, Wentz netted over 27 points. Wentz being QB3 for the rest of the season isn’t sustainable. However, he could be a top performer again in fantasy football Week 2.

The Washington Commanders play a Detroit Lions defense that was gashed by the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts finished as QB4 himself, and Wentz should have a very high floor against the Lions. In what will likely be another shootout, Wentz is as good of a find as any on the fantasy football waiver wire.

Daniel Jones Fantasy Streamer vs CAR (15.1%)

The quarterback lovingly named “Danny Dimes” was just okay in a Week 1 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Daniel Jones finished with just 188 passing yards, but he was still able to throw for two touchdowns. He also converted on a two-point conversion that would ultimately lead the New York Giants to a gutsy road win. Jones did have an absurd 81% completion percentage and scored a modest 16 fantasy points.

In fantasy football Week 2, Daniel Jones faces the Carolina Panthers. While the Panthers defense did okay against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, they were still less than impressive. Not only did Carolina ultimately lose the game, but they lost it to a backup quarterback. If the Giants can take advantage of Baker Mayfield’s mistakes, they should have good field position numerous times.

All of this works in favor of the Daniel Jones fantasy value, as he and the Giants should find this matchup easier than their previous road test against the Titans.

Matt Ryan Fantasy Streamer at JAX (24.9%)

Rostered in just a quarter of leagues, the Matt Ryan fantasy football value seems to be overlooked thanks to the Indianapolis Colts looking flat in Week 1. Ryan threw for over 350 yards in Week 1, but he only threw for one touchdown. Even with two turnovers, the Matt Ryan fantasy performance was decent, putting up 15 points. While that may sound low, he had a better week than quarterbacks such as Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers, among others.

In fantasy football Week 2, Ryan goes up against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that gave up just under 30 points to the Washington Commanders. With the powerful run game of Jonathan Taylor at their disposal, the Colts should be able to move the ball up and down the field with ease. Ryan has a low ceiling this week. However, he also has one of the most steady floors.
