If you made it to the fantasy football championship game, congratulations. Champions never rest however so the time is now to shore up any weaknesses on your team. The running back position is one of the hardest to crack due to the incredible amount of injuries and COVID-related issues. With the trophy all but in your hands, here are three running back streaming options to help you take home the gold.

Read on for three RB fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 17. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these rushers off of waivers. Fantasy Football Streamers | Week 17 RBs

Rashaad Penny | Seattle Seahawks (vs DET) (44.2%)

With Chris Carson out for the season and Rashaad Penny fully healthy, there is no question as to who dominates the Seattle backfield. In the past four games, Penny has run for over 100 yards in two games. Penny has also run for three touchdowns. Seattle loves their running backs and Penny is effective with the workload he’s given as well.

Penny not only gets a solid workload on the ground, but he also gets a few targets per game as well. While four receptions over the past four weeks is nothing special, it does add a little something extra to his value. Penny plays the Detroit Lions at home and should find plenty of production against them. The Lions are 29th against opposing fantasy football running backs which should lead to a perfect storm for a massive Penny week.

Rex Burkhead | Houston Texans at SF (24.3%)

Rex Burkhead went absolutely bonkers last week, with just under 29 total fantasy points. With David Johnson out, Burkhead took full advantage. Burkhead ran for just under 150 yards and added two touchdowns as well. Even with David Johnson coming back into the fray, Burkhead still has some major staying power in the Texans offense and backfield.

Since the Texans’ Week 10 bye, Burkhead has had double-digit carries five of the last six weeks. Burkhead has also had at least one reception in five of the last six weeks as well. With so much ability in a much-improved offense, he is a solid flex play for the rest of the year. While San Francisco is far from easy to run against, they are only a mid-tier defense when it comes to total points given up to opposing running backs.

Boston Scott | Philadelphia Eagles at WSH (13%)

It took them a long time, but the Eagles finally learned that running the football is a good idea. Philadelphia is now running the ball with authority and it’s hard to not like any player in their backfield. With Miles Sanders out for Week 17 already and Jordan Howard also possibly out, Boston Scott should absolutely feast.

If Howard is out, Scott and Gainwell are suddenly must-start plays this week. Even if Howard plays, it’s clear that the Eagles are more than willing to give him run. Scott only averaged 3.4 yards per carry in Week 16, most of his carries came in garbage time when their run-heavy strategy was well known. This week, Scott faces a Washington team that is middle of the pack against the run and reeling after getting blown out by Dallas. All the variables make for a good day from Scott.
