Welcome to the playoffs. In some capacity or another, it is postseason time in fantasy football. Sadly, that means the season is coming to a close. On the bright side, some of you are likely just a few weeks away from holding bragging rights, a sweet trophy and maybe a bit of cash until next August. If your starting quarterback is injured or has a horrible matchup, this week we have some better matchups for some solid fantasy football streamers.
Read on for three QB fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 15. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these rushers off of waivers. In order to be included in the fantasy football QB streamers article, they must be rostered in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues.
Fantasy Football Streamers | Week 15 QBs
Ben Roethlisberger vs TEN (18.4%)
Say what you will about the Steelers, but Ben Roethlisberger has turned a corner in the last two weeks. Since posting an eight-point dud in Week 12 to the Bengals, Big Ben has scored 19.5 and 24.8 in the last two weeks. Roethlisberger didn’t play scrub defenses either, in matchups against the Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings. This week, Roethlisberger gets to play the battered Tennessee Titans back at Heinz Field.
After falling just short of the biggest comeback in NFL history, the Steelers are in must-win territory. The Titans defense is not, and has not been scary for quite some time now. Tennessee is 30th against fantasy football quarterbacks and will have their hands full with a Steelers team with nothing to lose. With this reportedly being the last ride for Ben, you know he and his teammates are going to be extra juiced to make one last push starting against the Titans.
Tua Tagovailoa vs NYJ (38%)
Coming off of a Week 14 bye, Tua Tagovailoa is primed for another solid performance. Since he has returned to his role as a full-time starter, Tua has scored 17.5 or more in two of his three weeks. This week, he faces off against the Jets who happen to be one of those two games previously mentioned. In that game, Tua completed over 81% of his passes and added two touchdowns to the mix as well.
Having an extra week to prepare for your opponent is always a good thing, but it’s even better when you’re preparing for a defense ranked 24th against fantasy football quarterbacks. Not only that, but the last time he played the Jets was his first full game back from injury. Not only would you think Tua is much healthier now, but the Dolphins have since found their rhythm. Still in the thick of a muddled playoff hunt, Tagovailoa should help you move on in yours.

Jimmy Garoppolo vs ATL (14%)
Outside of a bad performance in Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings, Garoppolo has been a model of efficiency for most of the season. Since the 49ers’ early bye in Week 6, Garoppolo has scored 15 or more points in six of eight weeks. It should be more of the same for Jimmy G this week with a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on deck. While Garoppolo does remain largely touchdown-dependent to get you a 20-point performance, you’re likely looking for a stable floor, which is his forte.
The Atlanta Falcons have a terrible defense. This is no secret. They rank second-last against fantasy football quarterbacks. Garoppolo rarely beats himself. He has thrown just eight interceptions this year and four of them came in two games, against the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks. That leaves him with just four interceptions in his other 10 games. With Atlanta struggling to stop anything on defense, Garoppolo is a safe play for those who are okay with having a lower potential ceiling.
