With the Fantasy Football Playoffs starting next week, nothing short of a win will suffice in Week 14 matchups. Unfortunately, with six NFL teams on bye, that could be a tougher row to hoe for many fantasy managers than it otherwise would be. Fantasy football Week 14 streamers will be in high demand across all positions, with defense being no exception. While there may not be a wealth of great options, each of the selections listed below has a prime opportunity in a favorable matchup or situational spot to give your team the boost it needs.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Defense Streamers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (55.8%)
By now, most are aware that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have taken a step back defensively this year. Despite this, they appear in this very column for the third consecutive week as one of the top streamers available at the position. This probably won’t be the last time they are mentioned here either, thanks to a healthy dose of matchups to finish off the campaign. As far as Week 14 is concerned, how can one not love the Bucs’ defense in a matchup against the lowly Las Vegas Raiders?
To date, the Raiders have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses. This offense is awful in virtually every key stat category that benefits a defense in fantasy. Las Vegas has given up the sixth-most sacks of any team (41) and has committed a total of 23 turnovers, the most of any offense (yes, even more than Will Levis). Aidan O’Connell isn’t scaring anyone at quarterback which is great news for a lackluster Tampa passing defense. As for the ground game, the Raiders haven’t had anything there all season and that seems unlikely to change with Vita Vea on the opposing defensive front.
Seattle Seahawks (23.1%)
Ever since the Seattle Seahawks had their bye back in Week 10, their defense has been scoring fantasy points in bunches. Clearly, the tide has turned a bit for this unit. A defense that gave up 29+ points four times in five weeks earlier in the year has not allowed more than 21 in each of its last four games. In the three games since the aforementioned bye, the Seahawks have forced four turnovers, recorded nine sacks, and have scored a pair of D/ST touchdowns. Seattle actually has five such touchdowns this season, with none being more epic than Leonard Williams’ pick-six last weekend.
As for Week 14, the Seahawks will clash with the NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals for the second time in three weeks. The first encounter could not have gone any better, as Seattle sacked Kyler Murray five times and only gave up six points. The Cardinals should perform better in this second meeting, especially given that it will take place on their home field in the desert. However, Murray is still not a QB to trust as far as going out and dissecting an opposing defense on a given Sunday. If Seattle can maintain form against the ground game (89.7 rushing yards allowed over the last three games) another healthy output as a fantasy football Week 14 streamers selection is very possible.

Tennessee Titans (20.4%)
The Tennessee Titans were admittedly a complete no-show in Washington last week. It seems safe to expect that this will change in Week 14 after that embarrassing performance. As if any additional motivation was needed to show up, the Titans have a divisional game. Oh, and it’s against the Jacksonville Jaguars which means they also have a great chance to go out and win despite what Will Levis might do to screw it up (I need to stop slandering the guy, he’s been playing a tad bit better recently). At any rate, it’s a prime spot for fantasy managers in need of a defense to buy on bad news.
Statistically speaking, the Titans’ defense has been solid this season. Even after last week’s debacle, they still rank fourth in the NFL allowing only 4.9 yards per play. As far as the matchup is concerned, the Jaguars are depleted in terms of offensive weapons. The jury is still out on whether it will be Trevor Lawrence or Mac Jones at QB in this game. Personally, it doesn’t much matter as the gap between the two on a given Sunday isn’t all that significant. Jacksonville has 17 total turnovers on the season and ranks 25th in scoring offense at 19.0 points per game. The Titans are widely available and can be utilized with confidence as a fantasy football Week 14 streamers play.
