Fantasy Football Week 13 QB Streamers
Bryce Young Fantasy Outlook (3.5%)
Believe it or not, Bryce Young has not been horrible in the last five weeks of the NFL season. He has four straight games with a touchdown pass. This week, he takes on a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has been getting torched in the passing game all season long. Through 12 weeks, the Buccaneers have given up 3,027 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks. That number ranks 30th in the NFL. On top of that, they have given up 20 passing touchdowns.
While Young is not the sexiest fantasy football Week 13 QB streamer by any means, the playmakers around him are somewhat healthy. The Panthers have yet to unleash him, but Jonathan Brooks should help to carry at least some of the load in the run game. Even if he doesn’t, Chuba Hubbard has been solid this season. Last week, against a good Kansas City defense, Young finished the game with 17 fantasy points. I would expect that number to be higher this week, as I think that this game can be competitive like last week plus the quality of the defense he is playing is certainly worse.
Will Levis Fantasy Outlook (4.4%)
Don’t look now but Will Levis is actually playing decent football for the Tennessee Titans. He has two straight games with more than 275 passing yards. He will look to add to that streak against the Washington Commanders. I am expecting Washington to have a bit of a bounce-back game in this one after their instant classic against Dallas last week. What that means from Will Levis’ fantasy perspective is that Tennessee probably plays from behind for a majority of the game, meaning that there will be much more passing.
Tennessee should be able to run the ball decently in this game. This means that the play-action and mid-passing game should be set in Levis’ favor. With Calvin Ridley continuing to play well and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine only catching touchdowns, there are competent weapons for Levis to succeed in this one.
Drake Maye Fantasy Outlook (20.2%)
While the headlines have been surrounding Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and now Bo Nix, Drake Maye has quietly played some pretty solid football as of late. The New England Patriots rookie has scored at least 15 fantasy points in three out of his last four games and 18 or more in two of them. This week, the Patriots are matched up with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts’ defense, much like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been getting shredded this year. They have given up 2,988 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks this season, which ranks 29th in the NFL. They have also given up 16 passing touchdowns. The Patriots don’t really have much to play for right now, other than seeing positive progression out of their franchise quarterback. I think that Pop Douglas and Kayshon Boutte should be able to work some openings on offense, giving potential for a big day from Maye.
