Fantasy managers are now beginning to scout out waiver wire gems that could turn into potential streamers, due to injuries and bye weeks. The running backs on the fantasy football waiver wire will likely be scarce in deep formats because of the sheer amount of injuries to the position. However, players emerge every week and if you’re looking for a flex or RB2 option, read on for three fantasy football Week 12 RB streamers that are worth consideration.

Keep in mind, zero teams have a bye week, making things much easier on fantasy managers.

Players must be owned in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 12 RB streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 12 RB Streamers

Latavius Murray Fantasy Outlook at CAR (34.3%)

This is a no-brainer for fantasy managers struggling at RB and needing a full-time starter moving forward. Latavius Murray has slowly become a consistent fantasy option, scoring four touchdowns in six games played thus far. With Denver releasing Melvin Gordon III and placing Chase Edmonds on IR, that leaves Murray alone in the backfield on an offense that mightily struggles to throw the ball.

The Panthers allow over 25.0 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing running backs this season, so Murray feels like a safe pick to get double-digit points and possibly a pair of red zone touchdowns, making him a top option in the fantasy football Week 12 RB streamers.

Cam Akers Fantasy Outlook at KC (43.1%)

Another situation similar to Murray’s is Cam Akers, who was originally looking like he was on his way out of Los Angeles due to so many running backs demanding touches. The Rams released Darrell Henderson Jr., leaving the backfield a little thinner, allowing more opportunities for Akers to cement himself as the RB1. There’s still some competition scattered throughout the backfield, and there’s no guarantee that Akers will get workhorse-like touches.

The Rams will likely be playing from behind versus the Chiefs this week, but Akers is still a lock for easy red zone carries.

Rachaad White Fantasy Outlook at CLE (39.3%)

Regardless of whether Leonard Fournette is healthy, Rachaad White should be on all fantasy teams moving forward. He dominated snap counts in Week 10 before Tampa Bay’s bye week and showed he could be the three-down back moving forward. The Browns are abysmal against the run this season and just the Bills run all over them, so White’s upside is enticing enough to start him. His 39.3% ownership suggests he could be a solid plug-in for deeper leagues and even if Fournette finds upside in the red zone, he’ll likely lead in carries.
