When it comes to fantasy football streamers, the defense/special teams position is always one to monitor consistently on the waiver wire. In deeper formats, it can be hard to find defenses that produce consistent fantasy points, which is why many fantasy owners opt to intentionally stream the position all season long, playing positive matchups over drafting a highly-regarded unit. For those doing just that, read on for three fantasy football Week 12 defense streamers that are worth consideration.
Keep in mind, there are ZERO teams on a bye.
Defenses must be owned in less than 55 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 12 defense streamers column. All ownerships for defenses will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.
Fantasy Football Week 12 Defense Streamers
Denver Broncos Fantasy Outlook at CAR (53.8%)
This is an absolute no-brainer this week because the Denver Broncos’ defense is the only good part about their team at this point, and they face the Panthers, led by Sam Darnold. The QB play in Carolina is just so atrocious this season that Darnold has been named the starter, which bodes well for the Broncos’ fantasy value. He will turn the ball over and he will get pressured all game long. We’ve all seen what Darnold looks like on a regular basis and this defense is going to make him see ghosts, again, making them a top option for fantasy football streamers.

Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Outlook vs. NE (21.7%)
The overhyped Minnesota Vikings came back down to Earth last week, getting blown out by the Cowboys, but that definitely won’t happen this time around. The defense should feast on Mac Jones, forcing him to make bad throws or decisions. The Vikings pass rush is very solid and their secondary has a few key players that certainly won’t make it easy on Jones to do enough to win his team the game. After we saw last week in the NE-NYJ game, it’s safe to say the Patriots offense is struggling at the moment.

Miami Dolphins Fantasy Outlook vs. HOU (44.0%)
The Miami Dolphins defense isn’t a great starting option in fantasy because they give up a ton of points and don’t generate many turnovers but against the Texans, I like their odds. Miami’s coming off a bye and gets to face an erratic offense led by Davis Mills, who has been very bad this season. Their ownership is just 44.0%, making them a top streaming option this week for the majority of leagues so grab them now before it’s too late.
