Last weekend sure was a wild one in the NFL, and the fantasy football front was no exception. The tight end position has been notorious for being the weak link in fantasy lineups over the years. While there are only a handful of players with the potential to swing an entire matchup in a given week, one could certainly argue that the TE talent pool is deeper this year than it has been in quite some time. A total of 13 players at the position scored double-digit PPR points last week, including one featured in this very fantasy football streamers column. We’re back again to line up the best TE streaming candidates for Week 10.
Read on for three fantasy football streamers at tight end for Week 10 of the NFL season. At the end of the column, readers will also find lists containing the starting tight ends on bye this week as well as a few players who might be worth fading in difficult matchups.
Week 10 Fantasy Football TE Streamers
Ownership percentages reflect those across all Sleeper Fantasy Football leagues
Pat Freiermuth | Pittsburgh Steelers (vs DET)
Current Ownership: 52%
Ever since slot receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was lost for the season to injury, rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth has been coming up huge for the Steelers. He has seen a minimum of six targets in each of the last three games and has successfully converted those looks into three straight double-digit PPR scoring lines. The biggest came this past Monday night in front of a national viewing audience. Freiermuth hauled in five of six targets for 43 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It marked the first time in his career eclipsing 20 fantasy points.
Given the state of the Pittsburgh offense, there is no reason to believe Freiermuth’s production will dissipate anytime soon. Ben Roethlisberger clearly cannot get the ball down the field with regularity at this stage in his career. A measly average air yards per target has kept the fantasy football value of RB Najee Harris afloat. Managers should expect the same for Freiermuth going forward. Opposing defenses still have to respect talented wideouts Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool on the outside. This only helps to open up the middle of the field for Freiermuth to exploit. While the Detroit Lions aren’t one of the worst defenses when it comes to fantasy points allowed to TEs, it’s still the Lions. Thanks to a horrendous offensive line, the Steelers also might not be able to run the ball on Detroit as well as other teams. Expect Freiermuth to be involved again on Sunday.

Dan Arnold | Jacksonville Jaguars (at IND)
Current Ownership: 38%
All Dan Arnold has done since being traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this season is provide a stable fantasy football floor. Despite this, he remains rostered in less than 40% of leagues. He has been featured in this fantasy football streamers column on numerous occasions already, so why wouldn’t he be again? Arnold came through for those who streamed him last week with four receptions for 60 yards and a crisp 10.0 PPR fantasy points. Even more encouraging when it comes to projecting his future success is the fact that Arnold has seen 17 targets over the last two weeks.
The Jaguars’ are clearly one of the more offensively challenged teams in the NFL. This is reflected in the fact that Arnold has yet to score a touchdown with his new team. That being said, he is quite literally the top receiving option in this offense. Rookie quarterbacks are known to look to sure-handed tight ends, and Trevor Lawrence is doing just that. With regards to Week 10 specifically, Arnold gets a favorable matchup against an Indianapolis Colts defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points (13.6) to opposing TEs on a per-game basis. Even if James Robinson returns to the lineup, running the ball on the Colts is next to impossible. Arnold stands to be heavily involved in the Jags’ game plan once again.
Tyler Conklin | Minnesota Vikings (at LAC)
Current Ownership: 36%
Yep, yet another fantasy football streamers holdover from last week’s column. Look, what do you want from me? I call it as I see it. Although Tyler Conklin was not among the 13 tight ends to register double-digit PPR points in Week 9, he just nearly missed doing so. The third-year pro finished with 45 receiving yards on five catches, good for 9.5 fantasy points. Even more encouraging was that, for the second consecutive week, he saw seven targets. Much like Arnold, the chance of boom production out of Conklin any given week is slim. However, there is quite clearly a decent floor and relative consistency that managers streaming the TE position can count on.
In Week 10, Conklin and the Vikings head out west to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. At first glance, the matchup is a scary one. The Chargers are a top-10 adjusted defense against the pass while ranking dead last against the run. While this likely means a big game on the horizon for star running back Dalvin Cook, managers shouldn’t sleep on Conklin as a fantasy football streamers option. For as stout as L.A. has been against opposing wideouts this season, they have surrendered 12.4 PPR points per game to opposing tight ends. Conklin could emerge as one of the top targets for Kirk Cousins in Sunday’s matchup.
