When it comes to fantasy football streamers, the defense/special teams position is always one to monitor. In fact, many owners opt to intentionally stream the position all season long, playing positive matchups over drafting a highly-regarded unit. For those looking to do just that starting in Week 10, this article will have some solid options for you. Don’t forget there are four teams on a bye this week (HOU, CIN, CHI, NYG), making a streaming option that much more appealing but also less stressful than last week.

Read on for three D/ST fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 10.

Defenses must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 10 fantasy football D/ST streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 10 Fantasy Football D/ST Streamers

Green Bay Packers vs. SEA (29.7%)

The Green Bay Packers have been very steady in fantasy football, posting at least 6.0 fantasy points each game since Week 2. They have an opportunity to continue that trend here against Seattle. It’s worrisome that Russell Wilson will return to the lineup and the rest of the offense nearing full recovery but the Packers tend to sack the opposing quarterback while forcing multiple turnovers a game. At this point in the season, defense streamers are going to be hard to find but if you’re in need of a replacement for one week, this might be as good as it gets for ownership under 50 percent.

Tennessee Titans vs. NO (26.5%)

The Titans’ defense has come alive these past three weeks, posting at least 12.0 fantasy football points in that span. They’ve scored three defensive touchdowns this season and have had a knack of getting to the opposing quarterback, totaling 13 sacks over the past four games while forcing nine turnovers in that span. New Orleans would normally be intimidating, but with Trevor Siemian starting, the Titans should have no problem forcing him to make mistakes. Opposing defenses facing New Orleans only average 3.4 fantasy points per game (FPPG) this season but that was when Jameis Winston was starting and I would feel pretty confident starting the red-hot Titans this week as a streamer.

Philadelphia Eagles at DEN (8.8%)

It’s starting to become slim-pickings in the defensive streamers department. The Eagles’ defense has been very inconsistent this season and their secondary isn’t great by any means, but they do still apply quite a bit of pressure to opposing quarterbacks. The inconsistency is a huge factor for this defense, because one game they can generate zero sacks but the next can pick up six. Considering we’re choosing options under 50 percent ownership, Philadelphia could be a shot in the dark here facing Denver. Opposing defenses facing Denver average 6.0 FPPG and if the Eagles are able to apply pressure, Teddy Bridgewater will likely make a mistake or two, and it’s no question the Eagles have been good enough against the run to control Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams.
