FlurrySports discusses the best fantasy football waiver wire pickups for NFL Week 11, including Alec Pierce from the Indianapolis Colts.
After wrapping up what turned out to be a 13-hour shift tonight, I eagerly raced home to watch the highly anticipated Monday Night Football clash between the Eagles and Packers. After watching the hideous, offensive display that transpired, I am now sitting here with very little enthusiasm to write a clever intro for this week’s fantasy football waiver wire pickups column. Luckily, I enjoy good defense more than most and also took advantage of the Eagles inexplicably being priced as an underdog in the game. Hopefully, you did too. Happy Monday night… errrr… Tuesday morning, everyone!
With that, we’re going to just cut right to the chase and remind you that snap counts, injury news and usage rates remain the focal points of our waiver wire recommendations. Here’s a look at some of our favorite fantasy football waiver wire pickups to target ahead of Week 11.
Note: Players must be owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues to be included in the best fantasy football waiver wire pickups column. Ownership percentages will reflect their status on Tuesday mornings ahead of standard waiver processing.
Best Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 11
QB Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups
Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers (34.2%)
The Steelers’ inability to acquire an additional wide receiver at the NFL trade deadline looked like a glaring mistake in Week 10. With opposing defenses keying in on DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh’s passing attack will have some ugly statistical games. The mistake that many people are making is using this game as evidence to right off Aaron Rodgers for good. That’s hardly recommended, as Rodgers still ranks as the QB17 in fantasy scoring this season. He will have a great opportunity for a bounce back in Week 11 against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs.
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals (17.4%)
The Cardinals finally realized that Kyler Murray stinks. While his rushing ability has always given him upside in the fantasy football realm, the dude simply isn’t cut out to be an NFL quarterback. What may surprise some managers is that Jacoby Brissett has been remarkably productive in his own right since taking over for the “injured” Murray. Brissett has now scored over 19 fantasy points in each of his four starts for the Cardinals. He has thrown for two touchdowns in each game and should be a popular pickup and streaming candidate against an injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers defense in Week 11.
RB Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups
Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons (27.8%)
Trusting that Tyler Allgeier will see a consistent volume of touches on a weekly basis is impossible to do. However, despite the fact that Bijan Robinson still plays for the Falcons, the team insists on muddying the waters in this backfield for no apparent reason. Robinson only got six more carries that Allgeier in Week 10, and it was the latter who was the featured red zone back and got into the end zone twice. The two have players have now played an identical 39% of the team’s red zone snaps this season. Allgeier obviously remains a strong handcuff option and continued red zone usage could make him an unpredictable FLEX play in a given week.
Devin Singletary, New York Giants (37.1%)
One week after commanding the majority of the snaps out of the backfield for the Giants, Devin Singletary was clearly behind Tyrone Tracy Jr. in Week 10. Despite playing only 33% of the team’s offensive snaps and only getting eight carries, Singletary actually finished slightly ahead of Tracy in PPR scoring thanks to a trio of receptions for 53 yards. While both RBs are capable pass-catchers, Singletary seems to have a safer floor in this department. Of course, the injury to Jaxson Dart and the firing of Brian Daboll could shake some things up for New York, but Singletary remains a fantasy football waiver wire pickups target at the RB position.
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams (8.5%)
Week 10 marked the third straight game in which Blake Corum got at least 12 carries for the Rams. While this has naturally created all kinds of buzz within the fantasy football community, I’m not fully sold that the volume has staying power. After all, Los Angeles has dominated each of their last three opponents. Playing with a multi-score lead in all three contests, it makes sense why the Rams would opt to give Corum extended run in favor of preserving Kyren Williams, who clearly remains the lead back. That said, Corum is certainly a valuable handcuff stash with possible standalone upside if the Rams continue to split up the workload.
WR Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups
Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts (36.5%)
Regular readers of our fantasy football waiver wire pickups column should be very familiar with Alec Pierce as we have been discussing him for at least a month now. Fortunately, for those who may be late to the party, he’s still available in over 60% of ESPN leagues. Pierce continues to be peppered with a healthy target share week after week. While most associate him with his big-play ability, he has expanded his game in 2025. The Colts are on bye in Week 11, so managers may have less competition when it comes to snagging Pierce this week.
Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders (43.6%)
Playing time has not been an issue for Tre Tucker all season, and this remained the case in Week 10 as he played all 60 offensive snaps that the Raiders had in the game. Unfortunately, he only commanded three targets in the game, his fewest since Week 4. This was disappointing given that it was Las Vegas’ first game since trading away Jakobi Meyers. One would like to believe that Tucker should take on a bigger role in the coming weeks. That said, with how awful Geno Smith has been and the addition of Tyler Lockett, it remains to be seen whether that actually comes to fruition. Nonetheless, Tucker is still worthy of consideration, especially with a matchup against Dallas on deck.
Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (27.9%)
The Buccaneers’ receiving corps continues to be a land of opportunity for rookies with both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin being sidelined for the better part of this season by injuries. While Godwin could theoretically return to the lineup any week, we already know Evans is probably done for the year. As a result, Tez Johnson should continue to be a starter for the Bucs. With teams focused on containing fellow rookie Emeka Egbuka, Johnson has seen nine, six and five targets in the last three games, respectively. He continues to show a knack for finding the end zone as well which heightens his fantasy football waiver wire pickups appeal.
TE Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (35.2%)
Sunday marked the fourth consecutive game that Juwan Johnson has scored double-digit PPR fantasy points and the seventh such occasion this season. With the Saints trading away Rashid Shaheed at the deadline, it seems safe to assume that Johnson will maintain his stable target share for the foreseeable future. He has also found the end zone in each of the last two games and is clearly a comfortable target for rookie QB Tyler Shough. New Orleans is on bye in Week 11, but managers who can afford to use a bench spot on Johnson should not be deterred from including him in fantasy football waiver wire pickups.
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans (27.0%)
While there are several other tight ends who offer far more upside, Dalton Schultz was bound to find his way into this column eventually. His fantasy ceiling may not be exceedingly high on a week-to-week basis, but one cannot overlook his steady snap counts and target share. Dating back to Week 3, Schultz has been targeted at least six times in six of seven games. He also has eight or more targets in three of the last four games. As the Texans continue to try and navigate inconsistent WR play behind Nico Collins, Schultz figures to remain a safety valve and thus lines up as a TE2 or streamers candidate with a seemingly safe floor.
Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars (9.6%)
Brenton Strange was a common theme amongst our fantasy football waiver wire pickups early in the season before landing on IR with a lower body injury. The Jaguars officially opened his 21-day practice window to return on Monday. Strange has likely been forgotten by many at this point, but not by us! In each of the two games prior to getting hurt, he was targeted seven times and had six receptions. The trade for Jakobi Meyers and the emergence of Parker Washington have crowded the middle of the field on passing downs, but Strange is definitely worth monitoring this week and beyond.
