Deshaun Watson Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickup in Week 11

The Deshaun Watson fantasy football hype was real entering the season, but fantasy managers have been unable to see what he’ll be able to do in this new offense. There may be some rust because Watson hasn’t played a game since 2020 due to the whole Houston debacle, but he was an elite fantasy football QB nonetheless, putting him among the best fantasy football waiver wire pickups in Week 11.

Watson posted at least 20 fantasy points in 11 games in 2020, including three 30+ fantasy point performances. He did this with a supporting cast of Will Fuller, Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb, so one can only imagine how much both Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones will benefit.

It’s clear Jacoby Brissett isn’t the right fit to command the Browns’ offense, so taking the chance on a Deshaun Watson fantasy football waiver wire pickup and stash isn’t a bad idea for fantasy managers. He is currently rostered in just 28.2% of ESPN leagues, but it should rise once waivers are processed. The Browns face teams such as HOU, BAL, NO and WSH once he returns, which should allow him to get back into his groove.
