Any given Sunday in the NFL gives us a whole new set of fantasy football trends each week. We have organized some of the big trends here in order to help you answer some of the questions you may have about these trending fantasy football players for NFL Week 11.

Leonard Fournette inked a deal with the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad on Halloween. Although two weeks have passed, he has yet to be elevated to the 53-man roster. His activation is on the horizon in the coming weeks, promising a boost to the Bills running back corps in need of reinforcement. His impending activation coincides with a shift in offensive play-calling, marked by the recent firing of offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey earlier this week.

Personally, I anticipate Fournette’s activation as early as this Sunday, but no later than the next two weeks. However, tempered expectations are advised regarding Fournette’s fantasy production. The running back faces a challenging schedule ahead, with only two remaining matchups this season against teams in the top half of allowing the most points to running backs in the last five weeks. Complicating matters further, two upcoming games involve contests with teams ranking in the top five for allowing the fewest points to running backs over the same period. As a result, while Fournette’s activation brings anticipation, fantasy owners may want to temper their expectations given the challenging schedule ahead.

The Nico Collins injury won’t pose a concern in Week 11, as he enters the game against the Cardinals with no injury designation. With a clean bill of health, Collins becomes a fantasy football must-start, particularly given his outstanding fantasy performance at home. In his four home games, he’s been averaging 5.25 receptions for 112 yards, a touchdown, and an impressive 22.4 PPR fantasy points. If that stat line isn’t convincing enough, Noah Brown has been ruled out of this game with a knee injury, further bolsters his case.

Adding to the appeal is the matchup against the struggling Cardinals defense, which has had difficulties containing wide receivers. In four of their last seven games, they’ve allowed a wide receiver to amass 139 or more yards, with the most recent three also finding the end zone. With all these factors in play, starting Nico Collins in Week 11 becomes a highly favorable decision.

De’Von Achane fantasy football owners who hung onto him are rewarded, as the rookie is set to make his return in Week 11 after being sidelined with a knee injury and placed on IR several weeks ago. The dynamic and speedy rookie is anticipated to have a favorable matchup in his comeback game against the Raiders.

The Raiders defense has shown vulnerability, allowing a running back to surpass 110 scrimmage yards in three of their last four games. For those concerned about the impact on Raheem Mostert, it appears the return of Achane won’t significantly diminish Mostert’s fantasy production. Mostert managed to score 15.8 or more PPR fantasy points in the three recent games they played together, finding the end zone a total of five times during that period. With the Raiders’ defense struggling, both Achane and Mostert remain solid fantasy options for the upcoming week.
