Fantasy football has returned and the majority of fantasy managers are finishing up their drafts this week, likely leaving with plenty of solid wide receiver depth. The wide receiver position is deep this year and it’s going to be unlikely that you voluntarily stream this position this early in the season, but injuries will occur. If you have been hit by some unfortunate injuries to start the season, we have a list of fantasy football streamers at the WR position that may be extremely helpful.

Read on for three Week 1 fantasy football streamers at WR that are worth your consideration. Despite most having late-round ADPs, these wide receivers have a good chance to carve out more significant roles moving forward.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 1 fantasy football WR streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 1 Fantasy Football WR Streamers

Nico Collins, HOU vs IND (20.2%)

The Houston Texans’ offense is a big question mark, but it’s clear their defense has some issues and they’ll be playing from behind for the majority of the season. This bodes well for Nico Collins and the rest of the wide receiver room. If Davis Mills plays decently, Collins will benefit, as he operates as the WR2 alongside Brandin Cooks. The Colts’ defense surrendered over 22.0 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing wide receivers last season and will likely float around the same number again. The Colts will score often and the Nico Collins fantasy football value could benefit in garbage time.

Romeo Doubs, GB at MIN (19.5%)

With Davante Adams gone, it’s unclear who will be Aaron Rodgers’ new guy, but there have been reports that he’s developing chemistry with Romeo Doubs. He’s a rookie, so his role will carve itself out over time, but Rodgers can make any wide receiver look good, especially in fantasy football. Minnesota allowed the most FPPG to opposing wide receivers, at 27.7, last season. With no major additions to their secondary, aside from their first-round pick, the Packers’ wide receivers should thrive.

Isaiah McKenzie, BUF at LAR (14.5%)

With the departure of Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders, the Buffalo Bills have open targets, and speedy slot receiver Isaiah McKenzie will see a significant role this season. The Bills’ offense is one of the most high-powered in the league. They face the reigning Super Bowl champion LA Rams for the opening kickoff. This game is going to be high-scoring and there will be plenty of passing. McKenzie operates out of the slot and Stefon Diggs will draw Jalen Ramsey’s attention, so he could post some serious fantasy numbers.
