With one week of the season in our rear-view mirror, let us set our sights on setting the best possible lineup for Week 2. If you have Christian McCaffrey, Dalvin Cook or Alvin Kamara you know what to do. If you don’t and have to make a tough choice this is the place to be for those tough fantasy football start or sit decisions at WR and Flex in PPR leagues.

Welcome to our weekly WR fantasy football start or sit, and as an added bonus since it was such a hit last week, there is a name suggestion with each player as well. Good luck this week!

Fantasy Football Start or Sit: Week 2 WRs

Start: Robert Woods at Colts

Team Name: Cabin In The Woods

Robert Woods is coming off a rather quiet first game with Matthew Stafford, catching three passes for 27 yards, and he did find the end zone to salvage his day for fantasy purposes. Meanwhile, Cooper Kupp had 10 targets, which he turned into seven receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown. While the difference in targets is quite large, this is a one-game sample size and both should be able to put up points this week after the Seahawks WRs put up 37.3 fantasy points against the Colts last weekend. Check out the QB Fantasy Football Start or Sit as well, where Stafford is a recommended start.

Start: Buccaneers WRs vs. Falcons

Team Name: In Godwin We Trust

Any and all of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers troika of WRs make for great plays this week. Last week, Chris Godwin paced the group with 14 targets and 9-105-1. Antonio Brown had seven targets, 5-121-1, while Mike Evans had six targets, 3-24. Last game, Tom Brady threw two touchdowns to Gronk, with the second one being the 100th that the two have connected on in their careers. Look for Evans to catch at least one this week. Godwin seems like the safest play on a week-to-week basis, with Antonio Brown closely behind while Evans with his value largely tied to scoring will likely be the most inconsistent from week-to-week. Start any and all of them this week.

Sit: Corey Davis vs. Patriots

Team Name: Corey Island Dogs

After his great start in Week 1, with 26.7 fantasy points on five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns, it might be tough to put Corey Davis back on the bench, but that is where he belongs. Bill Belichick is licking his lips in anticipation for a matchup with Zach Wilson and, while the targets may be there as the Jets will be playing catch-up in the second half, the upside is not. This is a week to sit all of your Jets. The only recommended play when the Jets offense is on the field is the Patriots D.

Sit: Saints WRs at Panthers

Team Name: Harris of the Dog

Last week, Jameis Winston passed the ball 20 times to eight different WRs, TEs and RBs. Of those, the only play is Alvin Kamara and possibly Juwan Johnson, if he is TE-eligible in your league and you are desperate. Only five targets went to WRs. Marquez Callaway had two, 1-14, Deonte Harris had two, 2-72-1 and Chris Hogan had one, 1-10-1. ake a wait-and-see approach with all of these WRs for this game and, if one emerges, they may be a start going forward. But for this week, leave them on your bench.
