Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 7 WRs
Start: DeAndre Hopkins Fantasy Outlook vs. Saints
DeAndre Hopkins finally makes his debut this week after serving out his six-game suspension for PEDs. The 2-4 Arizona Cardinals have been waiting for his return and hope that he is the cure for their woes, especially early in games. They are averaging only 0.5 points in the first quarter and 4.8 in the first half — both of which are dead last in the league.
In his first game back, look for Hopkins to get targeted early and often against the New Orleans Saints who are allowing 33.0 fantasy points per game (fppg) to opposing WRs. They will also be without Marshon Lattimore, who would likely cover Hopkins. Get him back in your lineup this week.
Start: Allen Lazard Fantasy Outlook vs. Commanders
After a slow start to the season, Allen Lazard has had four straight weeks as a WR2 or better. He has been remarkably consistent, with 14.5, 17.6, 13.5 and 17.6 fantasy points. This week, he draws a matchup with the Washington Commanders who are giving up 33.8 fppg to opposing WRs on the season. This is his best matchup to date, and he has shown a safe floor. Lazard is a rock-solid WR2 this week.

Sit: Christian Kirk Fantasy Outlook vs. Giants
Christian Kirk started out the year as the WR6 through the first three weeks, averaging 20.9 fppg. Since that time, he has cooled off substantially with games of 8.3 and 2.1 for lows prior to rebounding somewhat with last week’s 10.8 fantasy points. This week, he draws the New York Giants, who are only allowing 18.7 fppg to opposing WRs (first in the league). With the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles on bye, you may not have many options, but be warned, Kirk is much more likely to bust this week than return to his early season form.
Sit: Jerry Jeudy Fantasy Outlook vs. Jets
Through the first six weeks of the season, Jerry Jeudy has reached WR2 range exactly twice. Other than those two weeks, he has finished WR99, WR85, WR51 and WR44. This Denver Broncos offense, which is dead last in the league in scoring with 91 points, is just too hard to trust and with a matchup this week against the New York Jets’ young secondary, which is holding opposing WRs to 25.6 fppg. You need to look elsewhere for your WR2.
