Fantasy football Week 7 is upon us, so let’s set our sights on setting the best possible lineup. If you have Saquon Barkley, Austin Ekeler or Christian McCaffrey, you know what to do. If you don’t and have to make a tough choice, this is the place to be for those tough Week 7 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

Welcome to our weekly fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em article for RBs!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 7 RBs

Start: Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott Fantasy Outlook vs. Lions

Both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are start-worthy RB2s this week with a matchup against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are giving up 26.8 fantasy points per game (fppg) to RBs on the season, which is second-worst in the league. With the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles on a bye this week, Ezekiel Elliott is a sure start. If you are in a pinch, Tony Pollard and his usual allotment of touches between 8-13 are very much in play as well. As seen in the QB Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em, the Cowboys should offer a lot of fantasy goodness in this matchup.

Start: Jeff Wilson Jr. Fantasy Outlook vs. Chiefs

Coming off his worst fantasy game of the season, it may be tough to trust Jeff Wilson Jr. this week. However, prior to last week, he had cleared double-digit fantasy points in four straight games. He gets a nice bounce-back spot this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, who are giving up 23.4 fppg to opposing RBs. With his usage and matchup, he becomes a solid RB2 play with the only possible downside is if he fumbles again, he may fall victim to Shanahanigans, the act of being replaced at RB and inserted into the doghouse by Coach Kyle Shanahan.

Sit: James Robinson Fantasy Outlook vs. Colts

James Robinson finds himself back in the sit portion of the RB fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em, as he has really fallen off after starting off the year hot. After averaging 19 touches for 18.8 fppg for the first three weeks, he has averaged only 11 touches for 5.1 fppg. His backfield mate Travis Etienne Jr. has averaged 11 touches over the past three weeks and has turned those into 10.1 fantasy points.

This week, in a matchup against the New York Giants, who are allowing only 18.7 fppg to opposing RBs, and as the least productive member of a timeshare, you are better off looking elsewhere for your RB2.

Sit: Both Falcons RBs Fantasy Outlook vs. Bengals

Last week, in their matchup with the 49ers, Tyler Allgeier finished with 15 carries for 51 yards and Caleb Huntley finished with 16 carries for 59 yards. The touchdown went to Marcus Mariota, who finished with six carries for 50 yards. Without any receptions and losing out on touchdowns to Mariota, neither Allgeier nor Huntley are worth a start this week in a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, who are only allowing 16.4 fppg to opposing RBs. Even with four teams on bye, you can find a better fantasy football streamer option than starting one of the Atlanta Falcons RBs.
