Week 6 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em QB analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.

Quarterback injuries, bye weeks, and overall bad offensive play has the QB position for fantasy being more of a question mark than in previous seasons. For our Week 6 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article below, we are helping you make those tough lineup decisions about the fringe starting options across the league.

No, you will not be hearing about Josh Allen or Jalen Hurts. Yes, start them. Who do they play? Doesn’t matter. Instead, we will be talking about the players who may be on the borderline of that starting lineup threshold. They’re not a no-brainer starter. So, depending on the matchup, they could be a start or a sit. Get the format?

Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 6 QBs

Start: Drake Maye Fantasy Outlook vs Saints

The start of the week in the Week 6 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em comes by way of the franchise savior in Drake Maye. Don’t look now, but Maye is QB7 on the season and has scored over 19 points in three out of his five starts. He has an opportunity to do so again this week, and I am expecting him to. Coming off a major divisional win against the Buffalo Bills, the New England Patriots take on the New Orleans Saints this week, who should give the Pats a much easier time.

The Saints have been very bad on the defensive side of the ball this season, and that has come due in part to their poor pass defense. The Saints are giving up 23.4 points per game to opposing quarterbacks on the season, which ranks 26th in the entire league. On top of that, they have given up 11 passing touchdowns (third-most in the NFL). Look for Maye to get back on track in the fantasy department this week against a poor Saints defense.

Start: Matthew Stafford Fantasy Outlook vs Ravens

It feels like nobody is really talking about the Los Angeles Rams this season. They were in a position to beat the Philadelphia Eagles and probably should have won last Thursday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Matthew Stafford has a lot to do with the Rams’ great play this season. Stafford looks like he is 28 years old again and should be in the conversation for the MVP at this point.

It is no secret that the Ravens have been awful on defense. Injuries to Marlon Humphrey and Roquan Smith, among others, have totally squashed any thought of the defense being elite. In fact, the Ravens have given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, at 28.4. They lead the NFL in passing touchdowns given up, with 13 this season. Seeing that, Stafford is good enough to carve up this team, and with Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Davante Adams at his disposal, he will once again register a big week.

Sit: Justin Fields Fantasy Outlook vs Broncos

Since he sat out that Week 3matchup with an injury, it is hard to find a quarterback who has been playing better football than Justin Fields. In Week 4, he finished as QB4, while in Week 5, he finished as QB7. While those numbers indicate a great fantasy option, they get a little less impressive when you realize those two games were against the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys. What happens when Fields actually has to play a good defense?

Well, we get to figure that out this week, as the Jets are matched up with the Denver Broncos, who may have the best defense in the entire NFL. For a quarterback who already struggles to pass the ball, I would imagine that Fields is not going to put in a great performance. Talking about his run game, I am not sure how strong that will be this week with Nik Bonitto playing off the edge. Garrett Wilson is going to see a lot of Pat Surtain, which makes me believe that Fields will panic more often than not in this one.

Sit: Tua Tagovailoa Fantasy Outlook vs Chargers

For whatever my money is worth, the Miami Dolphins are the worst team in the NFL. Mike McDaniel is all but out the door at this moment, and the Dolphins will play the rest of the season without Tyreek Hill. It is kind of a cute story to see Darren Waller succeeding in his time back in the NFL, but given how touchdown-dependent he is, it is hard to believe that he continues to be a strong contributor in this offense. Not to mention that Tagovailoa is not that good of a starting NFL quarterback.

He has an especially tough matchup this week against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have played well against the pass this season. On the season, LA is only giving up 16.8 points per game to opposing quarterbacks, which ranks as the fifth-best mark in the NFL. On top of that, they have only given up four passing touchdowns all season long. The Chargers feel like they are in a spot to win this week, so keeping the injured Dolphins low in this one will limit the time Tua gets to be on the field. Things are just way too weird in Miami for everyone outside of DeVon Achane to have any sort of confidence.
