Week 2 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em TE analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews.
We have enjoyed the fun that comes with fantasy football draft season. However, now the tough decisions begin. Now, you have to decide which players will be in your starting lineup. Notoriously, the fantasy TE position is one that many people choose to stream the best possible lineup week-to-week. If you, too, like to live life dangerously, then this article could be for you! Below, we will help you make those tough decisions in that tight end grey area, discussing our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em players!
We do not need to discuss the obvious studs at TE in this weekly Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article. Yes, you should start Brock Bowers and Trey McBride every week, and it does not matter if they play the Miami Dolphins or a team that actually features a defensive side of the ball. Tight end is one of the most-streamed positions in fantasy, so we are looking at that grey area where a player could return starting TE value if the matchup is right, and vice versa.
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out my weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with me and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 2 TEs
Start: Mark Andrews Fantasy Outlook vs Browns
Zach Brunner’s Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings
The Browns also got cooked in Week 1 by a rookie tight end. Harold Fannin Jr. totaled seven catches for 63 yards (and three added rushing yards). David Njoku added another three catches for 37 yards. Look for a nice bounce-back game from Andrews.
Start: Hunter Henry Fantasy Outlook at Dolphins
As for Hunter Henry, he played 94.3% of the Patriots’ offensive snaps in Week 1, leading to him seeing eight targets. This snap rate is higher than what he posted in either of the past two seasons. The Dolphins gave up a big day to rookie Tyler Warren last week, and it could be a big day for the veteran Henry this time around.

Sit: Tucker Kraft Fantasy Outlook vs Commanders
If you have followed my fantasy football analysis through the years, you know that I will always point out players whose fantasy rank exceeds their actual usage. Simply, that’s the case for Tucker Kraft. Last week, Kraft scored a touchdown to save his day. Without the score, he would have had just two catches for 16 yards and three rushing yards.
The bad part is that this isn’t an outlier. As we mentioned last week, Kraft averaged less than four looks and 18 air yards per game last season. So, you are praying for a touchdown and/or a broken play after the catch for a big gain. You got the touchdown from him last week, so do you think you will get lucky twice in a row?
It’s possible. If so, I would absolutely trade him. If you don’t get the touchdown, I would still try to trade him since he just proved to you that he will be inconsistent all season long. I’m a Packer fan and love Tucker Kraft. However, you should not blindly start him.
Sit: Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook at Broncos
I was cautiously optimistic about Evan Engram this season. Now, I’m saying to be closer to the cautious side.
In Week 1, Engram left the game early with a calf injury. He is practicing and expected to play. However, with a role that already has him splitting the tight snaps, adding an injury to the mix is enough to make me sit Engram this week, if I can afford it. I want to see him earn his starting role back in my lineup.
In 26/76 snaps last week, Engram totaled three catches for 21 yards. The matchup against the Indianapolis Colts isn’t exactly scary, but it’s also a matchup where the Broncos could make the game ugly and go run-heavy, which would keep Engram on the sidelines more often than not once again. There are better options, making him a “sit” in the Week 2 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.
