Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 16 WRs
Start: Malik Nabers Fantasy Outlook vs. Atlanta Falcons
Malik Nabers is pretty much the entire Giants offense over the last couple of weeks. He was able to balloon out to 24.2 points last week against the Baltimore Ravens. That is with the QB change and everything else happening.
The Giants will go South to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to play the Atlanta Falcons this week. The Falcons give up the fourth-most fantasy points per game, at 38.01 points. Nabers will line up against A.J. Terrell for most of the game, as Nabers is on the perimeter three-quarters of the time. Terrell himself gives up an average of 17 points per game.
Start: DK Metcalf Fantasy Outlook vs Minnesota Vikings
The Seattle Seahawks big man is on the start side of this article. DK Metcalf needs to have a good showing this week. Metcalf has absolutely had a quiet season since his bye in Week 10. Last week was his lowest-scoring game of the year, with a 5.8 against the Green Bay Packers. If there is a team to showcase how good WRs are though, it is the Minnesota Vikings.
The Minnesota Vikings head West to play in Lumen Field. The Vikings give up the most fantasy points to WRs this season (40.94 points per game). WR1s usually have a field day against the Vikings, and this week should be no different, especially if Stephon Gilmore remains out. Start DK in your lineups.

Sit: Terry McLaurin Fantasy Outlook vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Washington Commanders’ speedy WR will be a sit for us this week. Terry McLaurin is coming off a hot week where he had seven catches, 73 yards and two touchdowns for 26.3 fantasy points. “Scary Terry” has had a career resurgence for the Commies with Jayden Daniels under center. With that being said, his opponent this week is one to stop him.
The Philadelphia Eagles have already stopped McLaurin once this season and they should be able to do it again. If you want more stats, the Eagles give up the fewest points to WRs this year. If you look even further, they give up the fewest points to receivers on the perimeter where McLaurin will be lined up most of the time. This might be a time for you to leave Scary Terry on the pine this week.
Sit: Jerry Jeudy Fantasy Outlook vs Cincinnati Bengals
The hot hand will stop this week for the Cleveland Browns. Jerry Jeudy versus the Cincinnati Bengals was a dream for fantasy owners, but we have hit a roadblock. Kevin Stefanski has benched Jameis Winston for Dorian Thompson-Robinson. DTR will head the Browns offense and doesn’t have Winston’s upside. Jeudy will absolutely take a hit due to this.
On the flip side, the Cincinnati Bengals have been average or “mid” as the kids say at stopping WRs. Cincy gives up the 14th-most fantasy points to WRs this season. Since their bye week (Week 12) the Bengals have given up an average of 15.6 points to WR1s. With that being said, I trust Russell Wilson to George Pickens and Cooper Rush to CeeDee Lamb more than DTR to Jeudy. Jeudy should be left on the bench this week.
