Finally, every fantasy football league has reached its postseason. Some leagues are ending this week while others are just starting their playoffs. Injuries are starting to pile up and you might need to know who you should and shouldn’t start. For instance, you will always start Travis Kelce, but for those on the border of being a TE1, that’s where this article comes in to help. Below are the FlurrySports picks for the Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em for Week 16 tight ends.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 16 TEs
Start: Chig Okwonko Fantasy Outlook vs Indianapolis Colts
The Tennesee Titans TE will find himself as a start this week. Chig Okwonko has been below average this season for fantasy owners. Last week should be a good sign for the last three weeks of the season for him. Despite not knowing who will start for the TItans, Chig will be able to get targets as the safety valve for the Titans.
On the flip side of the ball is the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts give up the third-most fantasy points to TEs this season, behind the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers. In their last two games, the Colts have given up more than 10 points to three different TEs. No matter who is under center for the Titans this week, Okwonko will see targets. He will be a sneaky good play for you this week.
Start: Dalton Schultz Fantasy Outlook vs Kansas City Chiefs
For the second straight week, we have the Houston Texans starting TE in the starting side of this article. Last week, Dalton Schultz was a disappointment, but I think it is fair to say most people in that game were. This week, however, Schultz will get a more favorable matchup.
The Texans will head North to play the Kansas City Chiefs in a special Saturday game on NBC. The Chiefs give up a lot of points to TEs. They currently rank fourth in most points given up to the TE position (15.55 points per game). They have been getting better, but with all the weapons that the Texans have, Schultz can find himself open, putting him on the positive side of the Week 16 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.

Sit: Cole Kmet Fantasy Outlook vs Detroit Lions
The former Notre Dame TE will be a sit for us this week. Cole Kmet has lost his footing in the Bears offense and is not getting many targets. In the last three games, he has had four targets which to his credit all have been catches. He only had eight points to show in those games and fantasy owners have noticed the WRs get more targets.
The Bears will have a short week to get ready for the Detroit Lions. The Lions put the clamps down on the TEs, giving up the fewest points to the position this season — an average of 8.15 points per game. With the way that the Bears’ offense has been not utilizing TEs and how Detroit has shut them down this season, it is best not to have Kmet starting this week.
Sit: Cade Otton Fantasy Outlook vs Dallas Cowboys
We talked about one NBC game this weekend and the other one will have a sit. Cade Otton did not have a good game last week (Two receptions, 24 yards for 4.4 fantasy points against the Los Angeles Chargers). Otton has honestly cooled off since his game against the Kansas City Chiefs five games ago and that does coincide with Mike Evans’ return a bit.
The Dallas Cowboys have also been doing a nice job at covering the TE position this year. The Cowboys give up the eighth-fewest points to the TE position (10.57 points per game). Since the bye, only three TEs (George Kittle, Zach Ertz and Theo Johnson) have gone over 10 points against this defense. Sit Otton this week.
