The running back position has been more of a question mark this fantasy season than in past years. In the first week of the fantasy football playoffs, injuries and matchups have added even more questions. That is where we come in, helping you with this Week 14 RB Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em analysis.

Obviously, there are some players who are must-start every single week, such as Christian McCaffrey, Tony Pollard and Travis Etienne. However, the RB2 and Flex positions are a bit more fluid, causing some tough decisions to be made. To help you through these tough decisions, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings and read on for our Week 15 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em analysis at RB.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 15 RBs

Start: D’Andre Swift Fantasy Outlook at Seahawks

The D’Andre Swift fantasy football owners have been irritated over the past several weeks, and for good reason. He’s found the end zone just once since the Philadelphia Eagles’ bye week. However, with a matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, we are recommending Swift as a play in this week’s Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.

The biggest issue with Swift recently is that the Eagles have played from behind. Against the Seahawks, they should be able to get a lead and lean on the run with Swift. Seattle has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to the position this season. The Seahawks have also allowed 5.3 yards per carry over the past three weeks. D’Andre Swift fantasy football owners can start him with confidence.

Start: Zamir White Fantasy Outlook vs Chargers

Josh Jacobs’ status is in doubt for Thursday Night Football tonight. If you watched my Monday stream, then you likely added Zamir White in preparation for this moment.

This isn’t a typical situation where a backup with little experience is thrust into action. Remember how Jacobs was holding out earlier this season? In his absence, White was getting all of the reps with the starters. There’s confidence and familiarity with White heading into a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers allow the ninth-most fantasy points to the position, and they have allowed 4.6 yards per carry over the past three weeks. While he is more flex value, Zamir White can be used as an RB2 if you’re desperate this week.

Sit: James Conner Fantasy Outlook vs 49ers

Without finding the end zone, James Conner has rarely been a good start for fantasy football this season. Of course, he’s coming off of a game in which he ran for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. However, the matchup against the San Francisco 49ers is enough to sit him.

The 49ers have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to RBs this season. This includes giving up just six total touchdowns to the position this year. They have allowed 3.9 yards per carry this season, which has improved to 3.5 over the past three games. Conner is not likely to have much space to work with this week, and the touchdown upside is low, so he is a “sit” in our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.

Sit: AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones Fantasy Outlook vs Buccaneers

The waiting game for Aaron Jones fantasy football owners looks to be over. As reported on Lombardi Sweep weeks ago, this was the target week for this return, and he is on schedule. His return hurts the already struggling AJ Dillon, but it doesn’t mean Jones is a great start either.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been solid against the run this season, allowing just 3.9 yards per carry. The Packers’ offensive line isn’t great to begin with, and they will struggle to win at the point of attack if the Bucs’ front is all active. Additionally, the Green Bay Packers under Matt LaFleur have been extremely conservative with Aaron Jones, especially when he returns from injury. So, his presence takes away too much work from Dillon to play him, but Jones likely won’t see enough work himself to warrant a start either.

Check my fantasy football rankings, since you may have a better option, such as the two “starts” in this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article.
