Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 12 TEs
Start: David Njoku Fantasy Outlook at Broncos
I don’t have too much confidence in this Cleveland Browns offense moving forward. However, Dorian Thompson-Robinson locked onto David Njoku in the win last week, and there’s no reason that should change in this spot.
Last week, Njoku saw a whopping 15 targets. He turned those into seven receptions for 56 yards. This week, David Njoku fantasy football owners face a much easier matchup with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos surrender the most fantasy points to TEs in the NFL. Look for Thompson-Robinson to continue having success targeting his big, athletic tight end.
Start: Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook at Texans
Evan Engram featured as a “sit” in last week’s Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em (nailed it), but the matchup for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ tight end is too good to pass up this week. The Houston Texans surrender the second-most fantasy points to TEs this season, giving up 7.2 catches per game to the position.
I still feel Zay Jones’ return hurts Engram, and there are too many mouths to feed in this offense. For this reason, he isn’t a high-end TE1 this week, but you can still start him with confidence in this spot. Play the matchups with Engram moving forward.

Sit: Isaiah Likely Fantasy Outlook at Chargers
Gasp! Isaiah Likely was touted as the top fantasy football waiver wire pickup this week by many, but he’s listed as a “sit” in this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article? Sorry about it.
Isaiah Likely has five career NFL games where he has played over 60% of the snaps. Four of these games were played with Lamar Jackson at quarterback. Of these four games, Likely has one or fewer receptions in three of them. Yes, the Chargers are a tremendous matchup. However, Likely hasn’t proven he can be relied upon for fantasy football. All I am saying is to pump the breaks on the second-year Raven. You may not have a better option but limit your expectations.
