Week 12 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em QB analysis from FlurrySports includes Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff.
If you are looking at your fantasy football team this week and you have some questions on who to start, don’t worry, because I have some valuable advice. The following article details two must-start quarterbacks and two must-sit quarterbacks for the week. Given that Week 12 can be make or break for your fantasy team, referring to this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article will be what you need to find yourself in the win column.
The elite quarterbacks, like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, will not be mentioned. Yes, start them. Who do they play? Doesn’t matter. Instead, we will be talking about the players who may be on the borderline of that starting lineup threshold. These are the players that you are debating on starting, or are sitting as QB2s on your bench.. So, depending on the matchup, they could be a start or a sit. Make sense?
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 12 QBs
Start: Jared Goff Fantasy Outlook vs New York Giants
After playing against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, Jared Goff has a chance to make up for his poor week with a great matchup against the New York Giants. For the season, the Giants are giving up 2,641 passing yards total. That means that Goff, who succeeds at home, is in a position to once again do so. The Giants have been bad against the pass, as they are the 28th-ranked defense when it comes to passing yards. Since Dan Campbell took over play-calling duties, it appears that the ball is getting spread around more, with Jameson Williams registering solid back-to-back weeks. With Campbell calling plays and playing an inferior opponent, Goff stands above in our Week 12 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.
Start: Caleb Williams Fantasy Outlook vs Pittsburgh Steelers
When choosing players for this article throughout the season, I have landed on a quarterback who is playing the Pittsburgh Steelers more often than not this season, and for good reason. This season, the Steelers have given up 2,815 passing yards, which ranks as the third-most in the entire NFL. After a disappointing Week 11 performance, Williams has the opportunity to get back to that 25+ point per game guy that we saw the previous two weeks. On top of the passing yards, the Steelers have also given up 16 passing touchdowns. With players like DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland and Luther Burden, Williams has more than enough weapons at his disposal in this matchup.

Sit: Dak Prescott Fantasy Outlook vs Philadelphia Eagles
Much like I have been picking the quarterbacks playing the Steelers this season for my start section, I have been picking the quarterback playing the Eagles for my “sit” section of the Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em. Over the past two weeks, the Eagles have shut down both Jordan Love and Jared Goff and will look to keep that going against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. This is not the first time that the Eagles have seen Prescott this season, as Dak was held to just 188 passing yards against them in Week 1. The Eagles have allowed just nine touchdown passes, which equates to less than one per game. This defense is only getting better, and their next victim comes by way of the Mississippi State alum.
Sit: Daniel Jones Fantasy Outlook vs Kansas City Chiefs
There has not been a better comeback story this season than Daniel Jones playing like an MVP candidate with the Indianapolis Colts this season. While he has been a lock and load starter for a majority of the season, I am erring with caution in this game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though he has been good, Jones has struggled when uncomfortable. That does not play well in this game, as the Chiefs have been solid at getting after the passer with the fronts and pressure that Steve Spagnuolo has cooked up. The Chiefs are right there with the Eagles in only giving up nine touchdown passes on the season, and with the exception of Josh Allen, no quarterback has scored more than 15 fantasy points against Kansas City since Week 7.
