Week 11 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em WR analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of Stefon Diggs of the New England Patriots.
Before we jump into the fantasy start/sit at the wide receiver position, I want to let you all know I will be doing an AMA on r/FantasyFootball on Saturday. I hope you all stop by and ask questions! Like last season, I will be responding to messages much longer than the typical 60 minutes, so ask any questions you have for me, whether they are related to fantasy or something else!
Across the league, we have many tough matchups and close point spreads. So, we should see competitive football that goes a full four quarters in most games. While that helps us project which players we can play, you may still be left with some tough questions. That is why we have the Week 11 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article.
In this weekly Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article, we will be talking about the WR2/3 grey area, where you may have some tough decisions that will need to be made. Players like Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will not be discussed. Yes, start them. You drafted them early for a reason, and it’s too early to move away from them! Instead, we are more concerned about the low-end WR2 or WR3 area where a player with a solid matchup should return value that is worth the start, and vice versa.
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out my weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with me and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 11 WRs
Start: Stefon Diggs Fantasy Outlook vs Jets
Zach Brunner’s Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings
The stars come out for prime-time football, and this week that will be Stefon Diggs on Thursday Night Football. For his career, Diggs averages 9.6 more yards in night games, and he has scored 23 touchdowns in 41 of these games. Previously this season, Diggs posted 146 yards on Sunday Night Football, which was that revenge game against the Bills.
Aside from Stefon Diggs’ fantasy performance being better when the lights are on, the matchup is also outstanding. All season long, the defender opposite of Sauce Gardner has been weak, and they obviously traded him away. Last week, the Jets had an emotional win while the team honored Nick Mangold. Even with that, Jerry Jeudy had a season-high 78 yards and a touchdown. With that emotion gone, look for a letdown performance from the Jets, while Diggs has plenty of success. That’s why the veteran is a feature “start” in our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em for Week 11.
Start: Jordan Addison Fantasy Outlook vs Bears
This season, the Bears allow the fourth-highest completion rate in the league (69.7%). They have also allowed the fifth-most average fantasy points to wide receivers. Not only is the Chicago secondary injured and bad, but the offense finding its stride means opponents keep their foot on the pedal, which is expected to be the case here. Over the past four weeks, Addison has averaged 101.5 air yards per game (via my Opportunity Index), so look for him to capitalize on this opportunity in Week 11.

Sit: Courtland Sutton Fantasy Outlook vs Chiefs
The Denver Broncos offense has really struggled, and now they face an Andy Reid-led Kansas City Chiefs team that is notoriously great following a bye week. Sutton has really disappeared in this offense lately. Many would be surprised to know that he doesn’t even lead the team in targets (Troy Franklin). In fact, Franklin has 36 targets over the past four games, compared to Sutton’s 25. His six targets per game won’t be enough against a solid Chiefs defense.
For as good as the Broncos’ defense is, it’s actually the Chiefs who allow the fewest fantasy points per game to WRs this season. They are the only team to allow fewer than 1,000 receiving yards to the position. They won’t allow the downfield shots that Sutton has taken advantage of in the past, and the Broncos’ offensive game plan is to run the ball and limit the number of possessions in the game. This leads to Courtland Sutton being a “sit” in the Week 11 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.
Sit: Tetairoa McMillan Fantasy Outlook at Falcons
After embarrassing them earlier in the season, the Atlanta Falcons will be out for blood in this. Not that he has been great lately, but rookie Tetairoa McMillan has to be a “sit” in this matchup.
While the run defense proved last week it can be exposed, the pass defense of Atlanta is solid. They have allowed 6.1 yards per pass attempt (No. 6) and a 63.5% completion rate this season (No. 9). Atlanta has also allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to WRs. In the previous matchup against the Falcons. McMillan totaled just three catches for 48 yards. This was the only game this season with fewer than four receptions. Given the fact that he is also playing hurt, I would find a replacement for the rookie, if at all possible.
