Week 11 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em QB analysis from FlurrySports includes Cincinnati Bengals Joe Flacco.
If you are looking at your fantasy football team this week and you have some questions on who to start, don’t worry, because I have some valuable advice. The following article details two must-start quarterbacks and two must-sit quarterbacks for the week. Given that Week 11 can be make or break for your fantasy team, referring to this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article will be what you need to find yourself in the win column.
The elite quarterbacks, like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, will not be mentioned. Yes, start them. Who do they play? Doesn’t matter. Instead, we will be talking about the players who may be on the borderline of that starting lineup threshold. These are the players that you are debating on starting, or are sitting as QB2s on your bench.. So, depending on the matchup, they could be a start or a sit. Make sense?
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 11 QBs
Start: Joe Flacco Fantasy Outlook vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Joe Flacco has quickly made his name heard in fantasy football, on his second team, this season. While Joe Burrow is Joe Burrow, Joe Flacco is playing somewhat similarly to what we have seen Burrow play in the past. That has been on display recently. Over the past three games, Flacco has finished as QB6, QB7 and QB2. This week, he has a chance to reprise that high QB finish streak as the Bengals take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been bad against the pass this season.
On the season, the Steelers are giving up 22.4 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. That includes giving up 2,616 passing yards and 15 passing touchdowns. If starting Flacco is not giving you the most confidence, look at what he did the last time these two teams matched up. In the Week 7 matchup, Flacco finished with 342 yards and three touchdowns. With receiving weapons like Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, Flacco has the pieces needed to repeat his Week 7 performance this week.
Start: Jacoby Brissett Fantasy Outlook vs San Francisco 49ers
In relief of Kyler Murray this season, Jacoby Brissett has been playing really good football. Over his four starts with the Cardinals, Brissett is averaging 21.2 fantasy points per game, while going over 19 points in each game. On top of that, he has thrown for multiple touchdowns in all four games. With Trey McBride at his disposal, Brissett certainly has more than enough to take advantage of a great matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, who just gave up 280 yards and four touchdowns to Matthew Stafford.
Elaborating more on the matchup against the 49ers, San Francisco is just not creating pressure, which can be due in part to the injuries on the team. On the season, the 49ers are giving up 21.9 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Teams have totaled 2,365 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns against the 49ers this season.

Sit: Jared Goff Fantasy Outlook vs Philadelphia Eagles
While the Detroit Lions have seemingly hit their stride this season, especially with Dan Campbell taking over the play-calling duties, I am fading Jared Goff in fantasy this week. That all has to do with the matchup against the Eagles. Philadelphia has been great against opposing passers this season. Opposing quarterbacks are scoring just 16.7 fantasy points per game. At just eight touchdown passes this season, the Eagles have given up the fewest passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks this season.
We saw what the Eagles defense was able to do to Jordan Love and the Packers’ offense last week. I do think that the Lions’ offense is better than the Packers, but on Sunday night on the road, this is going to be a very difficult game for the Lions to win. The Eagles have succeeded in getting pressure, especially with the addition of Jaelen Phillips, and getting Goff uncomfortable is the key to beating the Lions. That is very likely in this game this week.
Sit: Bo Nix Fantasy Outlook vs Kansas City Chiefs
While the Denver Broncos currently sit at the two-seed in the AFC, with an 8-2 record, it is safe to say that it has not come because Bo Nix has been playing great football at the quarterback position. Over the past two weeks, Nix has gone under 175 passing yards and has totaled three passing touchdowns. On top of that, we have not seen the running game that we have come to see from Nix. In a major AFC West matchup, we know that the Kansas City Chiefs will send pressure all game and force Nix to make a mistake.
Speaking of the Chiefs, they have been solid against the pass this season, giving up just 16.9 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They have only given up nine passing touchdowns as well this season. This is a game that the Chiefs really want to win to climb back up the AFC Playoff picture, and making Nix uncomfortable is just the way to do that.
