Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 10 WRs

Start: Joshua Palmer Fantasy Outlook vs. 49ers

Over the last two weeks, with both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams out with injuries, Joshua Palmer has emerged as Justin Herbert’s primary target. He had nine catches for 57 yards, which is good for a WR2 finish prior to the bye, and eight catches for 106 yards good for a WR1 finish last week. With both Allen and Williams likely out this week, look for Joshua Palmer to turn in another start-worthy performance. The San Francisco 49ers allow 28.1 fantasy points per game (fppg) to opposing WRs on the season, which is in the bottom 12, so get Palmer in your lineup.

Start: Jerry Jeudy Fantasy Outlook vs. Titans

Heading into the Denver Broncos bye week, Jerry Jeudy was heating up, with seven catches for 96 yards and six catches for 63 yards with a touchdown in back-to-back weeks. Now, this week, he gets a matchup with the Tennessee Titans, who allow 33.4 fppg to opposing WRs. As discussed in the RB Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em, they are tough on opposing RBs, meaning the path to beating their defense is through the air. Look for Jerry Jeudy to continue his hot streak and with four teams on a bye. He is worthy of a WR2 start this week.

Sit: Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy Outlook vs. Raiders

Michael Pittman has had two games this season where he finished as the WR5 overall. Those have been his only start-worthy games. Since Sam Ehlinger took over at QB for the Indianapolis Colts, Pittman has had 10 catches for 75 yards across two games. Perhaps he is due for one of his spike games, and you may not have better options, but Pittman is best left on benches this week if you can help it.

Sit: Gabriel Davis Fantasy Outlook vs. Vikings

With Josh Allen being given the questionable tag for this week, with a UCL injury, even if he does play he may not be able to throw the ball as well as he typically does. If he is out, Gabriel Davis is not startable, as Case Keenum and Stefon Diggs will look exact revenge on their old team. Davis has had a rollercoaster season, with WR1, WR14 and WR18 finishes, but other than those three games, he has been in the single digits. With the four teams on bye, you may not have other options, but this is more than likely going to be another bust week for the boom-bust Davis.
