Week 10 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em WR analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of New England Patriots’ veteran Stefon Diggs.
This is not the easiest of weeks for the wide receiver position in fantasy football. For starters, there are several key injuries across the league to receivers and starting quarterbacks, throwing a wrench into things. To add onto that, the teams on bye mean players like Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Rashee Rice are out. With so many good WRs burning holes in your bench this week, creating a starting lineup can be difficult, which is why we have the Week 10 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article.
In this weekly Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article, we will be talking about the WR2/3 grey area, where you may have some tough decisions that will need to be made. Players like Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will not be discussed. Yes, start them. You drafted them early for a reason, and it’s too early to move away from them! Instead, we are more concerned about the low-end WR2 or WR3 area where a player with a solid matchup should return value that is worth the start, and vice versa.
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out my weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with me and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 10 WRs
Start: Stefon Diggs Fantasy Outlook at Buccaneers
Zach Brunner’s Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings
The featured player of our Week 10 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em is Stefon Diggs. The veteran has taken on the role of a team player and a leader in New England, so we have not seen him throw fits on the sideline. The result has been the Patriots spreading the ball around a lot, to great success. However, Kayshon Boutte (the consistent team leader in snaps among WRs) looks to be out this week. This opens up the opportunity for Diggs to play a few more snaps, and he could be used to stretch the field a bit more as well.
His matchup is perfect for this, as the Buccaneers have allowed 26 passes of 20+ yards in eight games. Not only can you pass on Tampa, but running against them is difficult. The Bucs allow just 3.9 yards per carry (sixth-best in the NFL). So, if the Patriots are taking the path with the least resistance, we will see Drake Maye air the ball out in this game. Tampa will also put up points against New England, forcing the Patriots to stay aggressive. Given this projected game script, look for Maye to target the offensive leader and most talented receiver — Stefon Diggs. He is on the team for games against good opponents like this.
Start: Wan’Dale Robinson Fantasy Outlook at Bears
Robinson has at least seven targets in four of his past five games, including double-digit target totals in two of his past three games. The Giants are moving him around the formations this season, and it is clear he is the top receiver in the lineup right now. The Bears are giving up 7.9 yards per pass attempt this season, and this average rises to 8.3 over their past three games. On top of being bad, they are also injured on the defensive side of the ball, meaning we can see another shootout featuring the Bears. I love that for Wan’Dale Robinson.

Sit: Chris Olave Fantasy Outlook at Panthers
To start the year, Chris Olave was looking like an outstanding value in drafts. He was near the top of the league in targets and, more importantly, he was staying healthy. Luckily, he is still healthy. However, the matchup and the quarterback switch land him on the “sit” side of the Week 10 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article.
The Carolina Panthers have allowed the sixth-fewest average fantasy points to wide receivers this season. They are also 12th in completion percentage allowed (64.4%), showing they are not the layup they once were. This will especially be true for Tyler Shough. The rookie has just one start under his belt, but it resulted in just four targets for Olave, who has averaged 9.3 looks per game via my Opportunity Index. While I think little of Spencer Rattler as an NFL quarterback, I think Tyler Shough is worse at this point in their careers. I will need to see Olave play well with Shough before I can start him with confidence again.
Sit: Parker Washington Fantasy Outlook at Texans
Boy, I felt so good about my shares of Parker Washington for about a day. Dyami Brown looks to be out this week, Travis Hunter is obviously out, and Brian Thomas Jr. could miss the game with an ankle injury as well. It seemed like Washington would be the only show in town, but Jacksonville promptly traded for Jakobi Meyers. Great.
Washington has a whopping 19 targets over the past two games, but he will likely be under that average in this game, given the addition of Meyers and the matchup. You see, the Houston Texans’ defense is the real deal. There is no better pass defense in the league. Houston allows a league-low 56.7% completion rate. They are also second in yards per pass attempt allowed (5.6), and they surrender the fourth-fewest fantasy points to WRs. I wouldn’t trust a good passing attack against the Texans, and this one is led by Trevor Lawrence. Pass.
