Week 10 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em QB analysis from FlurrySports includes Los Angeles Rams’ Matthew Stafford.
If you are looking at your fantasy football team this week and you have some questions on who to start, don’t worry, because I have some valuable advice. The following article details two must-start quarterbacks and two must-sit quarterbacks for the week. Given that Week 10 can be make or break for your fantasy team, referring to this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article will be what you need to find yourself in the win column.
The elite quarterbacks, like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, will not be mentioned. Yes, start them. Who do they play? Doesn’t matter. Instead, we will be talking about the players who may be on the borderline of that starting lineup threshold. These are the players that you are debating on starting, or are sitting as QB2s on your bench.. So, depending on the matchup, they could be a start or a sit. Make sense?
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 10 QBs
Start: Matthew Stafford Fantasy Outlook at 49ers
Zach Brunner’s Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings
This season, Matthew Stafford has been playing some really good football and should be mentioned in the MVP conversation. If the Rams are able to come away with a top seed in the NFC, Stafford has to be talked about as the best player in the league this season. Either way, what he has been doing in fantasy football has seemingly gone under the radar. Sitting at QB9, Stafford has been on fire recently. Over the past six weeks, he has finished as QB2, QB8, QB26 (in a weird game against Baltimore), QB4, Bye and QB8. Over that stretch, he has 15 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He did that without having Puka Nacua at full strength.
This week, Stafford will be able to keep that high level of play up as the Rams take on the 49ers. It is no secret that the 49ers are very injured, especially on the defensive side of the ball, but when you factor in Nacua and Davante Adams, Stafford becomes that much more desirable. The 49ers are giving up 20.4 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. In total, they have given up 2,085 passing yards and 15 passing touchdowns.
Start: Jaxson Dart Fantasy Outlook at Bears
It certainly looks like the New York Giants have found something in Jaxson Dart, and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. Over the past four weeks, Dart has not scored less than 19 fantasy points. He has finished as QB3, QB3, QB17 and QB7. Three of those games came against the Eagles twice and the Broncos — two very good defenses. While Dart still has some strides to make as an NFL passer, his rushing ability is what makes him so tantalizing. He has scored a rushing touchdown in four straight games and in five of six weeks.
This week, the Giants take on the Chicago Bears, who are 28th in average fantasy points given up to opposing quarterbacks, at 24.4. This season, the Bears have given up 1,986 passing yards and 20 passing touchdowns. Last week, we saw a very old Joe Flacco go for 470 yards and four touchdowns. Now, I don’t think Dart goes that crazy, but with his rushing ability against a bad defense, Dart is comfortably a QB1 this week.

Sit: Jordan Love Fantasy Outlook vs Eagles
Jordan Love was a featured “sit” in the Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em last week, and I am running it back this week. There are obvious problems with the Packers’ offense. You can blame the play-calling or the inconsistent play of Love, but one thing is certain: they are not the dominant offense that we want them to be. The only issue with getting to be that dominant offense is that when it is that way, the run game leads the charge. That does not bode well for fantasy points from your quarterback. With a strong run game and inconsistent play, Love currently sits at QB11, with only two weeks of more than 20 points.
It does not get any easier for Love and the Packers this week, as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who recently added Jaelan Phillips and Jaire Alexander to an already stacked defense. The Eagles are only surrendering 17.8 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks and have only given up eight passing touchdowns. That second number ranks as the second-best in the NFL this season.
Sit: Trevor Lawrence Fantasy Outlook at Texans
While Trevor Lawrence has not become the bona fide QB1 that many thought he would be, he has found a small niche as a good streamer in fantasy football this season. I wish I could say the same this week, but with a matchup against the Houston Texans, I am terrified. The Texans are a top-three defense in the NFL this season, with playmakers all over the field. On the season, the Texans are giving up just 12.8 fantasy points per game to opposing passers. On top of that, they have only given up eight passing touchdowns on the season.
Lawrence is also without Travis Hunter this week and for the foreseeable future, as Hunter was placed on IR. They did pick up Jakobi Meyers, but how much can you believe in him in his first game on a new team? That is not to mention that in the Jaguars’ first matchup this season with the Texans, Lawrence was held to 7.78 fantasy points, finishing as QB28. There are just too many negatives around Lawrence this week to start him if you don’t have to.
