Week 10 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em TE analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of the Buffalo Bills’ Dalton Kincaid.
Streaming tight ends is a very popular way to play fantasy football. When doing this, though, you are most likely choosing between a couple of players to put into that spot. I am here to help you give an idea of who to choose using players who are in positions to succeed this week. Below, we will help you make those tough decisions in that tight end grey area, discussing our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em players!
Guys like Trey McBride and Travis Kelce are not going to be covered in this article. Those guys are must-starts no matter who they play on any given week. They are just too good of players to sit. The idea is that we are taking those players who may be sitting on your bench as number two tight ends and making the decision. Get the idea?
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 10 TEs
Start: Dalton Kincaid Fantasy Outlook at Dolphins
Zach Brunner’s Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings
After I labeled him as a sit last week, Dalton Kincaid threw it right back in my face with a six-catch, 101-yard and one touchdown performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have been great against tight ends this year. Those numbers were good enough for TE3 for the week. What last week showed me is that Kincaid is the number one pass-catching target in this offense. I am going to continue to ride that wave this week, as the Buffalo Bills get a matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
It is no secret that the Dolphins’ defense is not the greatest in the NFL. That falls in line with defending the tight end position. On the season, the Dolphins are giving up 9.7 points per game to opposing tight ends. The position in general has totaled 614 yards and six touchdowns against the Dolphins. This is a game in which Buffalo will be able to run the ball very well in, and with that being the case, Kincaid will be on the field at the tight end position. Earlier this season, Kincaid recorded 66 yards and a touchdown against Miami.
Start: Kyle Pitts Fantasy Outlook at Colts
It is easy to forget about Kyle Pitts, as many jumped off the bandwagon after not being able to live up to that pre-draft hype. Now that some of that pressure has been taken off, Pitts has all of a sudden found himself in a nice role in Atlanta. While we can’t expect him to hit those superstar numbers, he only has one game this season where he finished below five targets. He is involved in this offense as a secondary pass-catcher, and while that is not sexy, it does bring about somewhat of a safe floor.
This week, the Falcons travel overseas to take on the Indianapolis Colts, who have struggled against the tight end position this season. Tight ends are scoring 10.3 fantasy points per game against the Colts. As a whole, Indianapolis has given up 674 yards and five touchdowns to tight ends. Two other things that work in Pitts’ favor in this game are that Atlanta will need to play catch-up ball by playing from behind and being overseas, the game plan will likely be simplified to get back to the States without any injuries.

Sit: Luke Musgrave Fantasy Outlook vs Eagles
Luke Musgrave jumped up to a must-add on the waiver wire this week, as Tucker Kraft was ruled out for the season with a torn ACL. That vaults Musgrave into the starting tight end role for a Packers offense that almost always has a tight end on the field. While I thought that you needed to go out of your way to add Musgrave, I am advising against starting him this week if you do not have to. The Packers have a very tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
The Eagles have been great against the tight end position this season, thanks to their fast and physical linebackers. This year, Philly is giving up just 3.5 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. They have given up just 261 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown to the position. Coming off their bye with an extra day to prepare, the Eagles should be geared up for a big win in a possible NFC Playoffs rematch.
Sit: Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook vs Raiders
I was at the forefront, saying that Evan Engram was the perfect player to slide into the Jimmy Graham role for the Sean Payton-led Denver Broncos. So far, that has not come true. In fantasy football, Engram has scored just one touchdown, and his highest finish was TE12. If you are like me and drafted Engram to be your TE1 and are still holding out hope, here is your sign to look elsewhere.
While the Las Vegas Raiders have not been particularly good this season, they have succeeded in defending the tight end position. They are giving up just 5.3 fantasy points per game to the position. In fact, they have allowed just 361 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns this season. The Broncos have a flurry of players to feed on their offense, and at this point in the season, it looks like Engram is at the bottom of their priority list.
