Zach Brunner’s Week 5 fantasy football rankings for both PPR and Half PPR scoring leagues!
Boy, as we finalize these fantasy rankings, we got fun news about Trey Benson while Bucky Irving was spotted on crutches. Great. If you are hurting at RB, make sure you are looking at the waiver wire ASAP.
Below, I have my PPR and Half PPR Week 5 fantasy football rankings! Check the date for when they were last updated, as they will be updated throughout the week. Due to how FantasyPros grades us, the emphasis will be put on the Half PPR side, but feel free to ask me some questions on Twitter/X — @FantasyFlurry — and tell me if you agree or disagree with my quick-hitter rankings to start things off.
Weekly Top 5 Rankings
Let’s get into my top five rankings before we talk fantasy! As I write this, I’m watching the 24/7 The Price is Right channel on PlutoTV, which, by the way, makes me feel like I’m home from school sick. It’s the ultimate “home from school” piece of entertainment, and these old episodes with Bob Barker are the absolute shit. He has zero patience for some of these morons, and I’m here for it.
With that being said, these are my top five game shows ever, according to me, which is the definitive list. No reality game shows…
- The Price is Right — Drew Carey isn’t Bob Barker, but damn, this show is so iconic. There is nothing better than absolutely roasting the people who give a dumb bid under pressure, or leaning in to see if the 80-year-old in the turtleneck can spin the big wheel without dying.
- Match Game — None of the remakes hold a candle to Richard Dawson making out with every woman in front of Gene Rayburn while Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly say the funniest lines of the show.
- Cash Cab — If you didn’t say “hell yeah” audibly when you read this choice, I’m not sure we’ll vibe. While it won’t make many people’s top five, everyone regrets that once they think of it.
- Jeopardy — I still don’t fully vibe with the show post-Alex Trebek, but Jeopardy has found a way to make a classic trivia game show great for everyone. Bonus points for some great SNL sketches as well (RIP Norm Macdonald).
- Family Feud — I won’t lie, this show has been trending down these rankings for me over the past decade or so. But still, this show is iconic, the classic seasons are unbelievable, and it is the reason why every family has their own intelligence power rankings, just in case you get the call to play the Feud.
Again, I honestly would love to hear who your top five in this list are! Now, let’s get back to fantasy football. Let’s talk about my membership that you should be joining, then we’ll hop into the Week 5 fantasy football rankings! If you need them, I have fantasy football IDP rankings here as well.
