Tommy DeVito is back at quarterback for the New York Giants. If you are looking for a streamer, he actually is a solid play due to the matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have given up the most fantasy points to QBs this season, and they have allowed a 75.2% completion rate over their previous three games. DeVito isn’t great. However, Tampa may make him look pretty darn good.
Jameis Winston is about to have a terrible schedule for fantasy football. On a short week, he gets to face the Pittsburgh Steelers (yay). He was sacked three times by the Saints last week. That may double on Thursday. Pittsburgh has given up a 54.3% completion rate over the past three games, and they are the second-best against fantasy QBs this season. If you are fighting for a playoff spot, you should be looking to trade Jameis.
Justin Herbert has been great lately, finishing as a top-10 QB in three of the past four games. He plays the Baltimore Ravens on Monday. While the Ravens are great against the run, they are the third-worst against fantasy QBs. If there is a team that can run against Baltimore as well, it will be Greg Roman’s Chargers offense. And if the Chargers run the ball effectively, it will open up the entire field for Herbert’s arm.
