Looking at the three easiest fantasy football strength of schedules for the quarterback position in 2025.

When it comes to drafting the leader of your team, evaluating the fantasy football strength of schedules can be important. Breaking down the quarterback position, outside of the top guys like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow, it becomes a little bit of a crapshoot when drafting. When you are looking for that deciding factor to take your quarterback, looking at each player’s schedule will be a big help.

Easiest Fantasy Football Strength of Schedules For QBs 2025

1. San Francisco 49ers – Brock Purdy

The San Francisco 49ers, led by Brock Purdy, have the easiest fantasy football strength of schedule when it comes to the quarterback position this season. Last season, Purdy finished as QB14 in what can only be described as a down year for the 49ers. This season, Purdy should have the benefit of Christian McCaffrey returning. That will only help the passing game, as McCaffrey’s prowess in the run game will force opposing linebackers to cheat up. On top of his run game, McCaffrey excels in the catch-and-run game, which means that there are many more points for Purdy.

Looking at the 49ers’ schedule this season, they have the Jaguars, Buccaneers, Rams (2x), Falcons, Panthers and Colts on the schedule. All of those teams gave up 4,000+ total passing yards to quarterbacks last season. In total, all of the teams on San Francisco’s schedule accounted for 10 fantasy points above average for opposing quarterbacks in fantasy football.

2. Houston Texans – CJ Stroud

In my mind, there are two ways to look at CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans this season. 1) They have a very favorable schedule with some of the worst defenses in the NFL. On top of that, they play in a fairly poor division. 2) They have an overhaul on the offensive side of the ball, with new wide receivers and a decimated offensive line. With that being said, there is no denying how enticing their quarterback strength of schedule is for fantasy football this season.

The Texans have the Rams, Buccaneers, Jaguars (2x), Ravens, Broncos, Bills and Colts (2x) on the schedule. All of those teams gave up 4,000+ total yards to opposing quarterbacks last season. Altogether, every team on the Texans’ schedule combined for 13.2 fantasy points above average for opposing quarterbacks. When looking at drafting CJ Stroud, I would proceed with caution, as that offensive line is not great. But when looking at the schedule, seeing the Jaguars twice is very enticing.

3. Arizona Cardinals – Kyler Murray

The Arizona Cardinals should be better this season. With Jonathan Gannon having another year under his feet as the head coach and Kyler Murray looking ready to play above-average ball, the Cardinals all of a sudden look somewhat like they can compete in the NFC West. Marvin Harrison Jr. should be better this season, after a disappointing rookie season, but what works in favor of the Cardinals is their QB schedule.

The Cardinals have the Saints, Panthers, Colts, Cowboys, Jaguars, Buccaneers, Rams (2x), Falcons and Bengals on the schedule. All of those teams gave up 4,000+ passing yards to opposing quarterbacks last season. On top of that, every team on the Cardinals’ schedule combined for 16.5 fantasy points above average for opposing quarterbacks. With the Cardinals putting an emphasis on Murray’s legs this season, added with an incredible fantasy playoffs scheduled (Texans, Falcons, Bengals, Rams) and Murray is a player who has a big impact on your team this season.
