Here are my Dustin Johnson Masters analysis, predictions and picks.
Two Masters Tournaments in a matter of six months? How lucky are we?! To many of you, it may seem like we were just talking about the Masters Tournament not long ago, and that’s simply because we were.
Even though we are all thankful the PGA found a way to host the 2020 Masters Tournament, it was just not the same. All feels right again, as it is April, the azaleas are in full bloom and we are set to hand out another green jacket from Augusta National.

Dustin Johnson Masters Analysis
Dustin Johnson (#1 Rank in World) – +950 to Win
Dustin Johnson comes into the 2021 Masters Tournament as the reigning champion and odds on favorite. There really is no need for in depth analysis when you are talking about the best golfer in the world, but I’ll provide you with some nuggets anyway.
Johnson went on an incredible run to end the 2020 PGA season, starting back at the PGA Championship in August, where he finished second. He then went on to win two of his next three tournaments, once again placing second in the other.
The momentum did not stop there, as he grabbed himself a sixth place finish in the US Open, followed by another second place finish before winning last year’s Masters Tournament. After a roughly two-month break, he came back ready to defend his world #1 ranking, and started the season with an 11th and eighth place finish.
His most recent tournament finishes were not so good, at 54th and 48th, but I’m telling you right now it does not matter. Johnson looks good, and from all accounts feels very good, and is ready to rip up Augusta. I’ll be taking Johnson any way I can get him at the Masters this weekend.
Dustin Johnson Masters Picks
Johnson is favored so heavily this weekend that you would have to hit him as winner, top-5 and top-10 just to equal the payout of guys like Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, and Jordan Spieth. As crazy as it sounds, that is exactly what I am going to try and do. Repeating as Masters Champion is a tall task for any golfer in any year, but it will be especially difficult and would be especially impressive given his victories would come hardly six months apart.
He is also one of the longest and most powerful hitters on the entire PGA Tour, which will play into his hands perfectly. All reports are that the course is playing extra firm this year, especially compared to how it was playing in November. This bodes well for big hitters, who should be able to get even more distance off the tee, and really attack the pin on their second shots.
Because of that, I am going to lay some money on Johnson to have an eagle. You can only bet this per round, so you will have to place a new bet every day, but I think it could happen in round one or two, and is currently a +400 payout.
Expect Dustin Johnson to look like the #1 player in the world among the azaleas this weekend.
