A look at the Drew Allar NFL Draft profile, including a scouting report, his college highlights and stats, and a 2026 NFL mock draft projection.
Every draft class has a few players who, unfortunately, see their draft stock fall after deciding to come back to college for another year. This year, there is no better example of that than Drew Allar. Once looked at as one of the best quarterback prospects, Allar’s horrific senior season, filled with average play and a horrific season-ending ankle injury, has caused his draft stock to crater. Even with that, there will certainly be a few teams that are willing to bet on Allar regaining some of his past form.
Let’s take a look at our Drew Allar NFL Draft profile, including his stats, scouting report, college highlights, and more!

Drew Allar Scouting Report
Strengths
When looking at Drew Allar as a prospect, he brings all the things to the table that you can’t teach. He has the size teams want at the quarterback position and he also has more than enough arm strength and overall talent. Any throw you can imagine, Allar can make. He handles zone coverages well and is able to make throws with anticipation and put the ball where it needs to be. He also can put a lot of zip on the pass if needed while also having the ability to climb the pocket and use his legs when faced with pressure as well. He has faced plenty of competition during his time at Penn State and has put on some incredible displays during his career.
Weaknesses
For as good as Allar can look at times, he can also look just as bad at others which can vary from play to play. He is terribly inconsistent and struggles the moment the offense is put into his hands. When he is given a conservative offensive approach where he has a set playbook and set priorities, he flourishes. Unfortunately, at the NFL level quarterbacks need to be able to be relied on with an entire offense and be able to put on a heroic act or two from time to time. When the playbook was open for him and he needed to go out and make a play, he struggled heavily and makes plenty of bad decisions and reads. His vision also leaves something to be desired and he has a bad tendency to throw the ball up for grabs rather than throw it away when under serious duress. For as good as he can look, his terrible inconsistency and inability to run the show on offense in college, doesn’t bode well for him as a potential NFL quarterback.
