DraftKings NFL DFS Picks for Giants vs Rams
Captain: Cam Skattebo (RB, NYG) $14,100
Week one the Rams allowed San Francisco to rush for 174 yards, Christian McCaffrey and Kaelon Black combined for 24 carries for 133 yards. Myles Garrett will not be on the field and Aaron Donald (though he is Aaron Donald) has not played in years and this will be his first game back with the expectation he will just pick up where he left off.
Skattebo will receive the bulk of the carries, the question becomes how involved Harbaugh can get him involved in the passing game this week. Skattebo had no targets against the Cowboys, Singletary got all four of the RB targets.
Jaxson Dart (QB, NYG) $9,800
It’s a Dart(y) Party in Los Angeles, the sophomore QB showed out in the Giants home opener, logging 284 total yards and three passing touchdowns. He now takes on a Rams defense that looked flat, like their additions during the offseason didn’t come to play. Dart’s ability to get you production outside of his passing yards is what makes him so valuable, last week he had 11 attempts just shy of 5 yards per attempt. The Giants offensive line looked far better than last season’s unit, and the Rams with Myles Garrett got no sacks, one tackle for loss and only two quarterback hits vs. San Francisco.
Davante Adams (WR, LAR) $8,800
With the unknown of Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, in my opinion, is a must-play. That puts nine targets up for grabs from week one, which most of those should go to Adams, building on the six he had in week one. The Cowboys did not look their best last Sunday but CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens saw a plethora of targets; Lamb even able to find the end zone, and everyone knows Adams is always a threat near the goal line.
Malik Nabers (WR, NYG) $9,000
The confidence is now there; it is time for Malik Nabers to be unleashed and peppered with targets like we got his rookie season. Nine targets last week were solid, but Isaiah Likely was nearly unstoppable against the Dallas defense. This Rams defense kept George Kittle in check, only catching two of his five targets for 12 yards, and with Likely’s success in week one the Rams defense is going to ensure he does not take over the game again, even if that means leaving Nabers in one-on-one coverage.
Blake Corum (RB, LAR) $4,600
Now we shoot for the stars, Corum led the Rams in week one with 54 rushing yards on 10 carries, one less carry than Kyren Williams with 13 more yards. Corum will never see any of the receiving work and rarely a goal-line carry, so it limits his upside. But if Corum gets some early down carries, he has the opportunity to break off a run, a home-run-hitting ability that Kyren doesn’t necessarily have.
Tyler Higbee (TE, LAR) $2,800
Flip a coin, or draw a straw and pick a Rams tight end. Could be Higbee, could be Ferguson, could be Parkinson, nobody knows until the time Stafford hits one of them in the end zone. I am rolling with Higbee, he tied with Parkinson with two targets each from week one and he is ole reliable for Stafford.
