Not long ago, the Miami Dolphins were accused of racism, and worse (in the NFL’s eyes), trying to pay their head coach to throw games. Quickly, the organization went to work in order to bury these allegations and get most to forget about them. An active NFL Free Agency was highlighted today by a Tyreek Hill trade. This trade has greatly improved the Miami Dolphins Super Bowl odds.
Let’s take a look at the full Tyreek Hill trade and see how it has affected the Super Bowl odds on BetUS Sportsbook.
Tyreek Hill Trade Send WR to Miami
In another blockbuster wide receiver trade, the Kansas City Chiefs have sent speedster Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. The breakdown of the trade is as follows:
Dolphins Get: WR Tyreek Hill
Chiefs Get: 2022 1st-rounder (No. 29), a 2022 2nd-rounder (No. 50), 2022 4th-rounder, 2023 4th-rounder and a 2023 6th-rounder.
This trade for the Miami Dolphins adds to an active offseason. The Dolphins hired young head coach Mike McDaniel who said he was going to do everything he could to maximize the potential of Tua Tagovailoa. To help him do that, the Dolphins signed left tackle Terron Armstead, running backs Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert and Alec Ingold, and they added wide receivers Cedrick Wilson and Tyreek Hill.
As for the Chiefs, it’s more than fair to question where they stand in the AFC West. Yes, they have draft picks, more cap space and already signed JuJu Smith-Schuster, but Hill is one of the true difference-makers at the position, which is now lost.
Miami Dolphins Super Bowl Odds | BetUS Sportsbook
The Tyreek Hill trade has greatly improved the Miami Dolphins Super Bowl odds on BetUS Sportsbook. Prior to the trade, they had +5000 odds to win it all. Now, they sit at +3500. This is 11th-best in the AFC, tied with the Las Vegas Raiders, who also just traded for a great wide receiver.
Given these odds, was it worth it?
As for the Chiefs, their Super Bowl odds fell, but not by much. They went from +800 to +850. This remains the second-best odds in the AFC.
