In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans drafted Isaiah Wilson, an offensive tackle out of Georgia. Three days before the season began, he was arrested and charged with a DUI. Wilson was also seen partying at Tennessee State University. With fear of being arrested again, the 350-pound lineman jumped from the second-floor balcony.
The Titans had enough, placing him on the COVID-19/IR listed essentially all season. He recorded just four snaps for the team that drafted him.
Earlier this offseason, Wilson tweeted that he was done being a Titan. Tennessee was then able to give Wilson a fresh start, trading him to the Miami Dolphins for a late-round draft pick.
Isaiah Wilson Cut by Dolphins
The magical number of three days showed itself again with Wilson, as he was now cut from the Dolphins just three days after trading for him.
Wilson posted a series of videos on his Instagram of him dancing shirtless on a car and inhaling a vape. No logical person expected him to go to Miami and stay out of trouble, if he was already enjoying the party scene in Tennessee. The concerning part is how he wasted zero time and broadcasted it for all to see.
Both teams will be void of any salary guarantees. The first-round draft pick can confidently be labeled as a bust.
